In this small world, as big as the universe itself, genius and creativity go hand in hand, even when the need is left out, denying all the times where they used or rather justified with the famous phrase "the need is the mother of inventions” to create as many inventions as the human mind could think of, a mind that due to lack of seriousness and vocation was given the task of expanding its imaginative limits, as is the case when they created boredom pills, if so as you read, they created pills to cause boredom to those who consumed them.

Another example would be the body lotion to attract mosquitoes, flies and all kinds of pests that bite, suck blood, annoy all living beings. And as well as many other inventions that I will not mention out of respect for their creators and co-creators.

Today I come to tell you about the emergence, the rise and not so fall of the miraculous and technological Creasueños3000.

In one of those European or perhaps Asian, Middle Eastern, African or American countries, I no longer remember if it was from top to bottom, from the center or from one side or the other, thinking about it I no longer know if it was a country , but hey, in a place where society is more advanced in laws, technology and other issues than to say. A scientist, a great scientist, one of those with many doctorates, winner of prizes and for having, worked in his laboratory-office-home-workshop with one of his projects, they say that of how to make sweet salt, when I observe his pet, his little cat Fernando, lying down and sleeping peacefully oblivious to noises and disturbances that revolved around him.

This scientist watched him for a long moment, he watched him for minutes and minutes, completely forgetting what he was doing, and suddenly, the clumsy spark of creativity settled in his mind, and a wonderful idea emerged from him, “what if we could have a machine that makes us sleep and have the most pleasant dreams just like a common cat does”. This idea fluttered in his mind until he laughed out loud, making him pull out plans, a calculator, tools, and he did not leave his laboratory-office-home-workshop for several days, even weeks, until after innumerable tests he obtained a machine that looked weird.

It was a black helmet with 2 bulbs or small lights on the front, it also had 2 metallic ears similar to a cat's that protruded from the helmet carrying a cable that connected to a kind of computer or digital programmer.

This machine, once placed on the person, and connected to his previously configured computer, managed to immerse the user in a long and deep sleep, a dream of almost real fantasies, of any kind or nature as desired.

The scientist called her the dreamer, but that name sounded simple to him, so he later called her the Dreammaker3000.

He began to test it with some friends, then neighbors and acquaintances, and little by little the news spread until it reached both the written and audiovisual media, "the wonder of the universe" they called it on highly recognized web pages and on the front pages. from various newspapers. She gave interviews to the already very famous scientist and creator. Books were made about him and his machine. Even a mini television series was created.

It got to the point where governments, companies and eccentric millionaires financed the production of their DreamCreator3000 around the world.

The demand for the sale of the machine was higher and higher, entire markets flooded their shelves with the already unquestionable product.” Each family should have this machine with miraculous qualities” said some, being amazed, in love with its operation.

His power was such that a law was enacted in the union of nations, where the use and acquisition of DreamCreator3000 was mandatory for each person (regardless of their age, religion, or social status), and considered an insult to humanity the rejection or non-compliance with this law.

And in this way, almost like the use of water for life itself, they were already sent automatically and obligatorily to each home, a DreamCreator was given to each person on earth.

But one day with a clear sky, a day that seemed no different from the others, there was a knock on the door of apartment number 516 in Tower C, where Luis Terán lived, a man in his 70s, a former professor of literature. He opened his door to respond to those calls, and in doing so he found several people, who were carrying boxes, forms, lists, and without being able to say a word they were handing him one of those machines, and only when his signature was missing for the delivery, he uttered these words that would sentence him: "Thank you, but I don't want it."

An awkward silence took over the environment, while the people from the delivery team, stunned by his response, looked at Luis with some contempt, and proceeded to leave. But not 15 minutes passed when a police team arrived and raided the apartment, taking Luis into custody on charges of instigation of violence, disturbance of public order, and conspiracy to commit a crime. The event quickly made headlines, and like the wind, it traveled the world.

The media feasted on the news, stories were told, each one worse than the other, showing poor Luis as a monstrous, almost inhuman being. Cataloging him as a terrorist for his act. "Release the murderers, imprison Luis" was the slogan of the marches.

And Luis's trial was held in the international court for criminals, where the entire planet followed his outcome minute by minute. And of course he was found guilty of the worst crimes against humanity. And the sentence was given:

“At 12:00 p.m. Eastern time, on March 20, the punishment of the former citizen (yes, they took away his citizenship for his terrible crimes) Luis Terán will proceed for his acts against humanity and world peace, which will consist of place him in the dream-creating3000 machine that has brought us so much prosperity, and make him sleep exhaustively, to cleanse the impurities of his mind and transform his behavior into one more in keeping with our society”

And so, on March 20, at exactly 12:00 pm Eastern time, Luis Terán underwent an exhaustive dreaming. Dying in this way the last human dream in history, which was so outdated to our era, now the machines would dream for us, a great advance in technology and in society.

All thanks to that great invention, to that great machine, which was the inspiration for many more, to that marvel of science, all thanks to DreamCreator3000.
