Vax to the Max (Short Story)

Once upon a time in a far-off land, a brilliant scientist developed a vaccine that was supposed to protect people from a deadly disease. However, something went wrong and instead of protecting people from the disease, the vaccine had a strange side effect: it turned everyone who received it into mindless, bumbling fools.
At first, the people who received the vaccine didn't realize anything was wrong. They went about their lives as usual, but gradually they started to notice that they were having trouble remembering things and making decisions. They became clumsy and forgetful, and it became difficult for them to even perform simple tasks.
The people of the land were terrified. They didn't know what was happening to them or why, and they didn't know how to fix it. The scientist who developed the vaccine tried to reverse the effects, but nothing seemed to work.
As time went on, the situation only got worse. The people became dumber and dumber, and eventually, they could no longer take care of themselves. They were completely reliant on others for food, water, and shelter.
In the end, the people of the land were forced to live in a state of constant confusion and helplessness. The vaccine that was supposed to protect them had turned them into mindless drones, and there seemed to be no way to reverse the effects. The land was plunged into chaos, and the people were left to struggle and suffer until the end of their days.
