Tangled is Live!

Since I have started writing and creating videos, I have been on the hunt for that decentralized social media platform that stands out from all the rest. As you might know there are so many new social media platforms popping up it is hard to find out which ones are going to be worth sticking with and trying to grow on.

Well, I have come across something that blows pretty much any other social media platform out of the water. Tangled is not your normal social media platform or even your normal decentralized social media platform that uses a blockchain. Tangled is one of a kind. Keep reading to find out what Tangled is, where it came from, and why I think it is going to be a matter of time before the Tangled name is known by everyone. Now I know I have written about this platform before in previous articles such as “Tangled Browser - A Node for Everyone”. This platform is growing fast, and updates are happening on a regular basis. With the way this platform is growing, it is only a matter of time before it is found by the masses. I am going to do my part to show everyone why I think this platform will eventually outshine more well-known platforms. Tangled has also just added a major update that is going to change everything! So let us take a deep dive into Tangled. What I think is the future of social media, finance, and earning from your attention and time.

The Beginning

You are probably wondering what makes Tangled stand out. How could it be better than major platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and all the other big-name platforms? Well to explain this to you I am going to have to go back a couple of years to the creation of something called Millix (MLX).

Millix is a Cryptocurrency, but one that does not use blockchain technology. I know what you are thinking. Well, if it is a Cryptocurrency then it must run on a blockchain right? At least this is what I thought when I first started getting into this innovative technology. Blockchain technology is what most cryptocurrencies use but Millix runs on something called a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG or a Tangle). So, what exactly is the difference between the two?

A blockchain is a type of distributed ledger technology (DLT) that records transactions in a linear chain of blocks. Each block contains a set of transactions, and once a block is added to the chain, it cannot be altered. This makes blockchains secure and tamper-proof. Blockchains are used in many applications, including cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

On the other hand, a directed acyclic graph (DAG) is another type of DLT that records transactions in a network of nodes. Unlike blockchains, DAGs do not have a linear structure. Instead, each node in a DAG can have multiple parent nodes, and transactions can be validated simultaneously. This makes DAGs more scalable than blockchains and allows for faster transaction processing.

To put it simply, blockchains are like a chain of blocks, while DAGs are like a web of nodes. Both are used to record transactions in a secure and decentralized way, but they have different structures and use cases.

Now Millix is not the only Cryptocurrency that uses a DAG. A couple of the other Cryptocurrency projects that use DAG technology are IOTA, Nano (XNO), and Byteball (GBYTE). 

The Concept of Millix was first brought to light in 2018 and then in 2020 it was released to the public. Its creator Price Givens and the Millix core team have built a truly decentralized ecosystem. One of the major things about Millix that stuck to me is that the only way it is minted is if it is earned by the community. It cannot be mined, staked (I am hoping this happens in the future though), or anything other than earned. So, your next question is probably how and is it legit.

Earned not Mined
Now there are many ways you can earn Millix (MLX), but I am going to start from the top and work my way down. The first two things I want to go over are Tangled social and Tangled browser. The reason I am grouping these two together is because when used together they boost your earnings. Keep reading to find more ways you can earn using Tangled and MIllix.
Tangled social is an ecosystem that allows you to earn from participating in the community. You can earn from your posts, from your comments, and just for your time. If you are using the platform, you will earn free MLX every 20 to 30 minutes. If you are using a regular browser or your phone, you will earn 20,000 MLX every 20 to 30 minutes, but if you are using the Tangled browser, you will earn a whopping 100,000 MLX every 20 to 30 minutes. I am going to dive deeper into the browser but first I want to go over the social aspect of Tangled.

Tangled & Live Streaming

The social aspect of Tangled is truly mind blowing. Tangled allows anyone anywhere to use their platform. Now it really depends on the country you're in and if that country allows you to use it but being totally honest, I think everyone should be able to use whatever platform they want. Most of the time governments try to restrict access to different platforms because they do not want their population to think any other way than what they think is acceptable. To me this is not acceptable. The future is in the power of the people. No matter where you are from or what you believe in, you are welcome at Tangled. I will go over Tangled social more later in this article.

Tangled has live streaming now! This means that anyone who uses Tangled can now go live. I think this is a huge update and is going to change everything. When I wanted to stream my Tangled Wheel Spins or do live streams talking about Tangled, I had to stream using YouTube. Now I can stream directly on Tangled. I still plan on streaming on YouTube, but my main streaming platform will now be Tangled. I am going to try using multi-Stream to Tangled and YouTube, but we will have to see how it works. I am still learning how to use OBS and Stream labs. I hear there is a plugin for OBS to MultiStream for free. Learning never stops when you are trying to create content and learn about technology. I am also going to go over each section and how everything works. I am also going to put the times for each topic in the description of the video so people can jump to whatever it is they want to learn about when it comes to Tangled.

Tangled Browser
The Tangled browser is something truly mind blowing. Now it does not have all the bells and whistles other Crypto related browsers have such as Brave or any cool widgets like Opera, but it is something worth more than both platforms put together. Do not get me wrong I enjoy using both of those browsers (Brave mostly) but Tangled browser is world changing. It runs as a Millix node. No more having to have thousands of dollars' worth of a token or having to know what you are doing. The Tangled Browser is a simple way for the average person to run a node.

When first starting the browser, you are asked to create an account. When you create this account, it will give you a secret phrase. Write this down and lock it up somewhere safe. This is your key to your castle. That key will give anyone the keys to your browser wallet.
When you run this browser, you will be helping secure the Millix network. Every time your browser is used for a transaction you will be given a small amount of Millix. The other cool thing about this browser is that it has an area at the top where little text ads show up. Every time you see an ad you earn Millix. Another way you earn from the Tangled browser is by using the browser to get on Tangled social. If you are using the browser to use Tangled social, you will earn 100,000 MLX every 20 to 30 minutes. If you are not using the Tangled browser, you can still earn from using Tangled social, but you earn a fraction of that (20,000 MLX).

The Tangled browser is a powerhouse for Millix and allows you to become a Millix Millionaire in a matter of days. Depending on what you post you could become a Tangled millionaire in a matter of hours.

Ways to Earn

One of the interesting aspects of Tangled is that its ecosystem revolves around an earn to mint basis. So instead of mining or staking for the Crypto to be minted the Millix token can only be earned. The only way for new Millix to be created is for it to be earned through participation.

Now there are many ways to earn MLX. I am going to make a short list and explain how each one works. One of the easiest ways to earn MLX is by using the browser. This allows you to earn MLX just from using the browser and helping secure the network. Below is a short list of the different ways you can earn and how they work.

Tangled Social
Tangled social is the place where everyone using Millix comes to hang out. This is the place where you can get your voice heard and hear others while earning Millix (MLX). You can post images, gifs, videos, and go live! Going live on Tangled was just released in the past couple of days and is a great way to get yourself seen by the creators as well as the whole community. If you would like to see the process of going live, then check out my video at the beginning of this article. I will do a walkthrough of the platform and explain the new things that have come to the platform.

Tangled also has apps built into the platform. Now there are only a couple but the few they have are powerful. Tangled is extremely new so I can only imagine what it will look like in the coming years. In the application section you will find apps such as Live Streaming and the Exchange (where you can exchange your MLX into USDC using the Polygon Network). I also went over this in the video I created at the beginning of this article. There is also a news app, a music app where you can listen to music for free on Wavyl that was created by the users of Tangled, and Tangled wheel spin. The Tangled Wheel spin allows you to create wheel spins for your earn challenges you decide to create and share. Tangled will use the wheel to pick random winners for you.

Cobra Helix
Cobra Helix is a gaming website that uses Millix to compensate users for playing games. There are six games to choose from. I am going to make a list below of the games and how you play them.

Stack - Stacks is a game where you stack blocks that are going back and forth. The more blocks you stack the more Millix you will earn.

Asteroids - I am sure everyone remembers Asteroids. This is a game where you are a little spaceship, and you destroy asteroids. The longer you stay alive and the more asteroids you destroy the more Millix you will earn.

Hextris - At the time of writing Hextris is under maintenance.

Snake - Snake is a well-known game that has been around for a long time. This is the Tangled version of that game.

Blaster - Blaster is a fun game where you are a little rectangle block like on pong and you have to shoot and destroy other blocks. The more blocks you destroy and the longer you stay alive the more you will earn.

Radius - Radius is kind of like asteroids but with a bigger map. You are a circle that must destroy other circles. The circles are big and small, and you can get weapon upgrades throughout the game

The earning potential is endless with these games. If you are good, you can earn a decent amount of Millix from each game. Also, if you play these games using your Tangled browser you will earn from the games while also earning from using the browser. You cannot beat that.
You are probably wondering how and if you can withdraw. A good amount of platforms promise good earnings but seldom deliver. The answer to "can you earn and withdraw" is yes you can, and it is easier than any other social platform I have come across. I will go over the withdrawal process later in this article.

Tangled Trivia
Tangled Trivia is exactly what it sounds like. It is a trivia website that allows you to earn Millix by answering trivia questions. Some of the trivia topics are things such as Led Zeppelin Trivia Quiz, The Roman Empire Trivia Quiz, Famous Movie Quotes Quiz, and many more. It is fun and allows you to earn a decent amount of Millix.

On The Node
On the Node is a blogging website that uses Millix to compensate people who post. You can earn 1,000,000 MLX from every post that you post if it qualifies as a good post. What I mean by this is that you cannot just post anything. Make sure your posts are good and written by you. Do not have AI write for you and do not steal other people's content and you should be fine and be able to earn from each article you share.

Wavyl
Wavyl allows you to listen to free music created by the Tangled community. Not only is it free to use but it can also be rewarding. If you create music, you can post it on Wavyl and anytime someone listens to your music you will earn Millix. You cannot beat that.

How to Withdraw

So, after you are done earning on Tangled you are probably wondering how you withdraw. Well, it is easier than you might think. A good number of projects have you jump through hoops to get your hard-earned tokens. Tangled has made it easier than any earning platform I have come across.

When you click the trade button you are going to be brought to the Tangled exchange. In this area you will be able to withdraw your earnings to the Polygon Network. You need a wallet that uses the Polygon network like Phantom or MetaMask. It is a clever idea to do your own research and find the wallet that best fits your needs and has a dedicated team and is decentralized. Using centralized wallets can be rewarding but your funds are not yours once you put them in that wallet. FTX was a big revelation for me. Now I only focus on decentralized wallets and the occasional Coinbase exchange.

After you have gotten to the Tangled exchange there will be a buy option and a sell option. If you like the platform, you can invest some money in Millix. If you have earned the minimum amount ($1 worth – it varies but is around 10,000,000 Millix) you can start a sell order. There is also a withdraw limit. If you look at the exchange you will see your daily limit, you can withdraw. You will need to get your Polygon wallet address. Make sure it uses the Polygon network and put that in the address bar. When you sell it will convert your Millix into USDC on the Polygon network. It is easy to exchange that into whatever token you want from the wallet you are using. Or you can send this to a wallet that has a debit card like Coinbase and use it on anything you want digital or physical.

Exchanging Millix (MLX) into Wrapped Millix (WMLX)
If you decide to download the browser and use it, you can also use the browser to exchange your earned Millix into Wrapped Millix and send it to an exchange called P2B (p2pb2b.com). You can then exchange your WMLX into whatever your heart desires. You can also use this exchange to invest in WMLX.

To exchange your MLX into wrapped Millix You will need to open you're Tangled Browser. You will need to click your Millix balance at the top left of your browser. Once you click that you will be brought to your wallet page. On the left-hand side there will be a menu with different options going down the webpage. Close to the top of the menu you will see send to exchange. If you click this, you will be brought to an area that will allow you to exchange your MLX into WMLX. There is a 10,000,000 MLX fee for the exchange plus a 1,000 MLX. You can use the P2B exchange to exchange your WMLX.

P2B Exchange

One of the exchanges that supports WMLX is called P2B. This exchange is fairly easy to use and has a lot to offer. Since this article is not about this exchange, I am going to keep it short. As I learn more about this exchange and use it more, I will make a dedicated video and article about it. Since I have only been using it for around a month, I do not know the most about it. One of the things I do know is it has a high user base, and it is easy to buy and sell your WMLX.

Some of the things P2B has to offer are having a large number of tokens to choose from, an active community, staking, referral program, and much more. If you are trying to find a new exchange, I think P2B is worth checking out.

Fiatleak is something truly mind blowing. Fiatleak allows you to watch tokens be bought and sold in real time. You can watch all the buys and sells happening at that moment or you can find a project you are interested in and watch transactions in real time. Fiatleak is pretty awesome and gives you an idea of how powerful this technology is and how many people are starting to realize the world changing power cryptocurrency has. You can also catch up on the latest news and Fiatleak also has its own radio where you can hear the creator of Millix and Tangled talk about

The Future

Now no one knows what the future holds. What I do know is the Tangled platform is different in some pretty amazing ways compared to other social projects I have come across. The Tangled team is constantly updating the platform and creating YouTube videos, going live and interacting with the community, engaging in posts, and are open about everything they are doing. The creator Price Givens is an active community member and is constantly commenting on and interacting with other people's posts. The team is on top of making this platform world change. Tangled has already changed my world and I believe it has the potential to change my life a lot more.

Final Thoughts

Decentralization and digital currency are the future of not only finance but also social media. This technology will only grow, and as more people start to realize the potential and financial freedom this could give someone, who knows what could happen.

Once I realized I could earn Cryptocurrency using social media I gave up on the more well-known centralized platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Not only do you earn from using social media using Tangled, but you can also earn from playing games, answering trivia, using the Tangled browser, and much more. This is just the beginning of this platform. Imagine what it will be like in 5 to 10 years. This is a truly world changing platform and if I were to only be able to choose one of the Cryptocurrency platforms I use to earn, this would be the winner.
