Crypto: Changing OUR Lives Forever

I have been doing some research on how far back the idea of Crypto goes and what types of achievements there were in the past. It is just amazing how far back this technology started. I have for the longest time thought that it was first invented in the late 1990s or maybe early 2000s. This is not the case. It goes all the way back to 1983!

A gentleman by the name of David Chaum created an anonymous digital money service called ecash (1983). He had a corporation by the name of Digicash and ecash was used as a micropayment system at a U.S. bank (1995-1998). It is just amazing to me how long this technology has been around. How long have companies been studying this form of payment system and who really released this technology to the public? Was it for freedom or was it for other reasons? I love using Crypto so I am in no way bashing it, but someone has to ask these questions. If no one thinks outside of the box then we will just follow anyone we think has power no matter how unbelievable the information is.

The National Security Agency published a paper in 1996 called "How to Make a Mint: the Cryptography of Anonymous Electronic Cash". This paper shows that this technology has been in the works for a very long time. This also brings me to the question - Was this released to the public to help us or has this been in the works for a long time and do some people in power know the outcome of all of this new tech? It really makes me wonder. This is actually one of the main reasons I started studying the history of Cryptocurrencies.

It was not until 2009 when the "first" Cryptocurrencies came out to the public. Bitcoin was released to the masses. Still a baby, it was not worth much. With time and word of mouth, this Cryptocurrency started to get traction. Enough people were using it the price started to go up. The people made the price go up. They made it worth something. The first time Bitcoin was used was to buy two pizzas on May 22, 2010. This was the start of a new form of currency. Amazing how this can be done. Let us hope the creators of Bitcoin have a good heart because when this takes over as a new form of currency, whoever made this is going to be the ruler of everything. Money is POWER.

I am not sure what the future holds for these fairly new forms of payment. What I do know is that the whole world does not agree on the idea of Cryptocurrencies (At least the available ones, some want to create their own). Some countries welcome it and some straight outlaw it.

It is just crazy how much this technology has grown over the past couple of years. Bitcoin was only worth $1 in 2011! Just two years later it crossed the $1,000 mark! Around 2017 the price really started to go up. December of 2017 the price was around $19,000! Just this year the price has gone all the way past $60,000! Do you see how fast this payment system is growing? Do you see the potential of this taking over and creating a one-world payment system? What will happen when the price reaches $100,000? What does this mean for other forms of currency? These are all things I would love to talk about so if anyone wants to talk about it please leave a comment!

I hope everyone has learned something from this article and is willing to ask questions. Always do your own research and try to figure out what you think the best investment is going to be when it comes to Crypto. Do not just go by what some random person says on the internet. Do not go by what your favorite Celeb says about Crypto. Do not even go by what our leaders tell you about Crypto. Do your own research and make your own decisions. Things are not always what they seem.
