Keblajan Shaheb – Pirzada Alhaj Khwaja Mia Bhaijan Mujaddedi and Zaker Party Chairman Pirzada Alhaj Khwaja Mostafa Amir Faisal Mujaddedi – Abdus Samad, who was a former GM at Sonali Banka, passed away today at 2:45 p.m. at the Apollo Hospital in Dhaka. We belong to God, and to Him we shall return! At the time of his demise, he was 86 years old. Late Abdus Samad, a former central leader of Zaker Party, was suffering from cancer. He has left behind two sons, four daughters, grandchildren, relations, well-wishers and countless admirers. His first Namaz-e-Janaza will be at the Banani Darbar Sharif, and the second Namaz-e-Janaza will take place at Bishwa Zaker Manzil; afterwards, he will be buried at the family graveyard at Bishwa Zaker Manzil.

At the news of the demise of Abdus Samad, who was revered by all – a veil of mournfulness has descended over all members of the Khwaja family. As the traumatic news swiftly spread around the country and abroad, the leaders, workers, supporters and well-wishers of Zaker Party and its associate organizations were overcome with anguish and grief.
