During the heyday of the shipbreaking industry, six friends from Chittagong got involved in this sector. He formed an organization called 'Super Six Star Corporation'. Within a few days of the start, the three moved away, but the other three continued to do business. But when there was a recession in the shipbreaking industry, the three friends also broke down and the joint venture closed down. Five banks are now in trouble after investing in that Super Six Star. At present, Tk 144 crore is stuck with the company. At present, Janata Bank Laldighi branch has Tk 60 crore, Social Islami Bank Agrabad branch has around Tk 49 crore, Eastern Bank Agrabad branch has Tk 21 crore, Prime Bank Laldighi branch has Tk 6 crore and South East has Tk 60 crore. Tk 6 crore is stuck in the bank's CDA branch. Creditors Bank and steel sector businessmen said that Super Six Star Corporation started business in the steel sector in 1994. The three partners of the company were Mozaher Hossain, Shamsul Alam and Yusuf. However, Mozaher Hossain used to look after the business. Among the three partners, Mozaher Hossain and Shamsul Alam live in Jiri area of Patia in Chittagong. Another said. Although Yusuf's home is in Anwara, Chittagong, he now lives in the East Madarbari area of the city. He was also in the business of outfitting old ships. He is currently running an auction business called Zahid & Brothers. Before joining Super Six Star, Shamsul Alam used to trade in rod and billet in the ship breaking sector. He currently has another company called Alam Steel. Another partner of the organization. Yusuf previously owned a business called Karnafuli Cables. He used to trade in old ship's cable through this company. Yusuf is not currently involved in any business due to his age and illness. It is learned that Super Six Star was doing good business for the first two decades after its establishment. The problem arose after the downturn in the shipbreaking sector. The company was hit by a series of losses due to rising and falling prices in the international and domestic markets. In good times of business, the three partners made a profit, but during the recession, the relationship between them began to strain. No one wanted to take responsibility for the loans of the banks stuck in continuous losses. As a result, with the addition of interest year after year, the company now owes more than Tk 144 crore to five banks. Due to the lack of coordination between the three entrepreneurs, no one has come forward to repay bank loans for almost a decade. Due to this, the concerned officials of the bank are very worried about the recovery of the loan. In 2012, the Super Six Star Corporation took a loan from the Social Islami Bank to import old ships. The company then imports the ship, cuts it, scrapes it and sells it in the market. But the bank did not pay the money anymore. Although 10 years have passed, the loan money of the bank has not been recovered due to the disagreement of the three leaders. Despite many attempts, the money could not be recovered from the leaders of the organization. They are busy blaming each other for not repaying bank loans. As a result, a loan case was filed against the three leaders of the company last year. However, due to the Corona situation, the progress of the case is very low. Even after filing the case, there is uncertainty about the recovery of the loan of Social Islamic Bank from Super Six Star. Because in contrast to the loan, the company has mortgaged 417 per cent of the land in Sitakunda shipyard, but there is no BS deed of 206 per cent of the land. Mozaher Hossain, the managing partner of the company, has already handed over 64 per cent of the mortgaged land to his wife. But now the bank owes 46 crore 65 lakh 43 thousand 98 rupees. Janata Bank Laldighi branch also has a large loan to Super Six Star Corporation. Bank AGM and Laldighi branch manager. Nurul Mostafa said, "I am in a lot of trouble with the debt of Tk 60 crore of Super Six Star Corporation because the company closed its business a decade ago." These leaders who imported ships with bank loans 10 years ago did not repay even 1 taka to the bank. Although a loan case has already been filed to recover the loan money, it has not been resolved. The latest institution has applied for rescheduling of loans with special benefits. We have sent their application from the branch to the head office. Now I am waiting for the order of the head office. At that time, the loan money of the bank got stuck due to losses. Next time we run our own business like that. Delays in repaying loans are due to business commitments and troubles between partners. However, we have already repaid the loan of a bank. I am also trying to repay the loans of other banks quickly.
