The party president and prime minister Sheikh Hasina has given some instructions to the Awami League leaders and workers in the five-seat by-election. He made the remarks at a meeting of the ruling party's editorial board on Wednesday after a long six-month hiatus in Corona.
In this hour-long closed-door meeting on Bangabandhu Avenue, the head office of Bangladesh Awami League, the top leaders of the party discussed various organizational issues. In a video call, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina directed the United to win the party's nominee. He urged the leaders and workers to listen to the needs of the grassroots.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said there are several by-elections ahead. People have confidence in us, so we all have to work together.
"We work with people," he said. So people have to be good. We have to find out where in the country it will be beneficial for whom.
