The Russian government has approved the Sputnik V-Ticker for public use. The Sputnik vaccine was developed by a joint venture between Russia's Gamalea National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, the health ministry said in a statement.
The statement said that Sputnik V, a "game-covid-wak" made to prevent the spread of the epidemic corona virus, had successfully passed all types of tests.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin hopes that the corona vaccination process for most city dwellers will be completed in the next few months.
The Russian health ministry says the first batch of the vaccine will soon reach different parts of the country.
On August 11, Russia registered the world's first Covid-19 vaccine. Clinical trials of the vaccine are set to begin in India this month. Not only in India, but also in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Philippines and Brazil, there will be clinical trials of Sputnik V. The results of this clinical trial will be known in October or November this year.
According to a report in the world-renowned medical journal The Lancet, Sputnik V appears to be safe for the time being. There are no serious side effects. The results so far show that the vaccine is producing long-term antibodies in the body.
