Pollard-Russell, Sammy-Puran will face in the semi-final of CPL today
The two semi-final matches of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2020 will be held today. Andre Russell's Jamaica Tallawas will face Kieran Pollard's Trinbago Knight Riders at 8pm Bangladesh time in the first match of the fight to reach the final.
Kieron Pollard's team Trinbago is in great form after winning all 10 matches in the league. Although their semi-opponents did not do well in the league stage (6 points in 10 matches) there is a lot of talk about their Andre Russell.
In the second semifinal, Darren Sammy's St. Lucia Jukes will play against Guyana Amazon Warriors of Puran-Hetmeyers at 3:30 pm Bangladesh time. In the group stage, Guyana and St. Lucia have won 6 matches each.
If no match can be held due to rain, the match will be played on Reserve Day tomorrow. The two winners of the semifinals will face each other on November 10 in the title fight
