Keeping an eye on the Chinese, India and Japan signed a stronger military relationship. New Delhi and Tokyo on Wednesday signed a defense pact to boost co-operation between the two countries' armies.
According to Indian media sources, Japanese Ambassador Satoshi Suzuki signed The Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA) in the capital Delhi. The agreement will facilitate the exchange of logistics between the Indian Army and the Japanese Army and the use of military infrastructure.
Given China's aggression in Ladakh and the South China Sea, analysts say the real purpose of the deal is to build a military zone against Chinese forces.
