Dubai punishes Air India, suspends service

The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has suspended all flights of Air India Express bound for Dubai since Friday. They allege that despite the positive reports of the Covid-19 test in two separate incidents, the patients were flown to Dubai. The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority said, "I informed you in a letter on September 2 that even a passenger who tested positive for coronavirus would be at high risk for other passengers on the journey." The Dubai authorities said. "All services of Air India Express will be closed for 15 days," they said. The directive will be effective from 12 midnight on Friday, September 18 to 12 midnight on October 2. Source: TOI.
