China has seized about 1,000 square kilometers of territory along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) along the disputed Ladakh border, an Indian intelligence agency has told the country's central government. According to a report in the Indian newspaper The Hindu, intelligence has recently submitted a report to the Center, stating that China is continuing its aggression along the Line of Actual Control along the Ladakh border. So far, the communist country has occupied an area of about 1,000 square kilometers. The Red Army has been stockpiling troops and weapons along the Line of Control since last April. In particular, China has occupied about 900 sq km from patrol points 10 to 13 in the Depsang Plain area. Chinese forces have occupied 12 sq km in the Galwan Valley and 12 sq km in the Hot Spring area. Not only that, the Indian Army has come on patrol along Finger 1 to Finger 8 along Pangong Lake.
However, China claims that their area from Finger 6 to Finger 4. As a result, the conflict between the two forces is increasing. Last May, Chinese forces suddenly attacked Indian soldiers in the area with sticks and stones. The Red Army has deployed a large number of troops since that incident. Not only that, the Chinese are no longer allowing Indian soldiers to patrol from Finger 4. At present, Finger 4-E has become a de facto border. In such a situation, on the night of August 29 and August 30, the Red Army tried to enter Indian territory through the southern end of Pangong Lake. As a result, the situation in the area has become more heated. Meanwhile, the two countries held a meeting at the level of brigade commander at the Chushul border meeting point after the incident to stop the conflict.
