The inauguration of the third largest mosque in the world, built in Algeria, has been delayed due to Koro Navai's death. However, before the inauguration, the melodious sound of Azan was heard for the first time from this mosque named Azam. Masjidul Azam was scheduled to be inaugurated this year in the holy month of Ramadan. Construction of the mosque began in 2012. Haramain Sharifain is the third largest mosque in the world after Masjidul Haram and Masjid Nawabi. In this mosque, 120,000 worshipers can perform prayers together. The mosque has a three-storey car park on an area of 160,000 square meters. It can accommodate 6,000 vehicles. There are two 16,000-square-meter conference halls under the mosque. One of which has 1500 seats and the other has 300 seats. In addition, the 2,000-seat library has a capacity of 21,800 meters.
