In a joint venture between the Government of Bangladesh and the FBBCI, a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines recently sent 3,360 kg of glass to Lebanon as an emergency. The Lebanese government has expressed its gratitude to Bangladesh in this regard.

A bomb blast near the Lebanese port city of Beirut on August 4 killed at least two people and injured dozens more, the foreign ministry said on Sunday. Doors and windows of various residences, factories and installations in Beirut were shattered. For this reason, the Lebanese government, through the Bangladesh Embassy in Beirut, requested glassware from the Bangladesh government as assistance.
