I never believed in LDR to the point I promised myself to never get into one...until i met you. Ive had friends be negative about it whenever I tell them I’m in one. Their words don’t matter though. In the past couple months,
You have shown me what it’s like to
- love unconditionally
- to put in effort and commitment into a relationship.
- to appreciate the small things
- have company and someone there for you all the time
You have helped me become more trustful, more patient, and that it’s okay for me to be honest/truthful about my feelings and thoughts because you’re willing to listen. I appreciate you for everything you’ve done for me. I’m sorry for driving you wild a lot and dealing with me. Thank you for being the one to change my view on long distance, you’re someone I want to grow with.
* to those that are concerned and have negative thoughts about LDR. It’s tough , really tough because you want to do a lot of things with them that require going out, being next to each other, exploring, trying new things etc. You can’t because you’re far apart. Thats where time spent together and the things you do together on a daily basis matters the most. The best thing about LDR is the adrenaline rush you get when you hop on that plane to see your SO. The feeling of your heart beating fast to get to do the things you both planned on doing. Another plus about flying is when you see them waiting for you and ready to start the day. Yes there are situations involved with overthinking, yes there are times where arguments get rough bc it’s happening through webcamming , text, or phone calls. One thing that I realized when it comes to that is if they are willing to take the time of day to listen to you and to straighten shit out with you. That literally means dropping everything theyre doing...They really give a shit and is putting the effort into YOU and the relationship. Anyway, to those that are in a LDR I have high hopes for you and I hope you guys are happy with each other. Some LDRS make my heart fill up with joy. 🥰
