Perspective
Money and wealth aren't as simple as we might imagine. It seems that, if you have a lot of money, you are wealthy, yet poor people who live in our country today make as much money each month as most people made in the whole year at the beginning of the twentieth century. Wealth is relative. Most think its relative to how you keep, but in the Bible its relative to how much you give away.
The only way to be poor in the Kingdom of Heaven is to try to keep everything we have on earth. If we try to save it, we lose it. We will leave it when we die.
We become truly wealthy, not because we have more than anyone else, but because we have what no one can have -peace and contentment.
