Have you heard about online lotteries or played one before ? They are lotteries that aren’t played in traditional way which asks the player to be physically present to purchase a ticket and handpicked or have a random number. Well how about lottery games that uses blockchain technology such the pancakeswap lottery ?

With the blockchain based lottery game like Poollotto Lottery, it is possible to play it by anyone, wherever you are, and it does need waiting if you ever won the game when claiming your winnings as the token prizes are sent out instantly. Added that compared to online/digital lotteries that lacks transparency and fairness blockchain lottery gives more fairness, is transparent as it is publicly verifiable, have reduced risks of error and is also more protected.

What is PLT Token?

“Poollotto Token (PLT) is a new generation of lottery token-based smart contracts for non-centralized management of the global community-driven (social) lottery pools, automated and safe payments.”

PLT is the utility token of Poollotto Lottery, as the title says it is a crypto lottery game extremely similar to pancakeswap.finance’s lottery game that I also have just mentioned.

The game is just easy: You buy a ticket with PLT token, choose your lucky 6 number or have them instant (randomly generated numbers), then wait for the draw and see if you win a fraction from the pool rewards or hit the jackpot.

How do you exactly play the game?

More than anything else, you have to have a wallet first that is capable of interacting with web3 websites and dApps such Trustwallet and Metamask.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to setup one:

Metamask

A - Create a wallet

1. Install Metamask desktop or Metamask mobile

2. Open the app, click Create Wallet, and Create a password

3. Write a copy of your seedphrase then input them in order and Confirm.

B - Connect with Binance Smart Chain

1. Go to Settings, find Networks, click Add Network.

2. Input the following details:

Network Name: Smart Chain

New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/

ChainID: 56

Symbol: BNB

Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com

3. Click Save.

For Trustwallet, setting it up is just pretty similar to the latter and more easy.

1. After installing the app, open it.

2. Create a new wallet, accept the terms and conditions, and continue

3. Back up or have a copy of your recovery phrase and keep them.

4. Press the toggle on the upper right of your wallet look for Smart Chain and enabled it.

The next steps should be done is depositing BNB (BSC) on your wallet and swap it to PLT token on either Pancakeswap or Dodoex (they are exchanges where you swap/sell/buy different tokens).

If you have tokens like ETH, BTC, BCH, SOLANA you can just bridge them using Mistswap Bridge or swap them to BNB using Cctip Wallet .

You need to have enough Binance Coin (BSC) balance for gas fees and for swapping PLT tokens. One lottery ticket costs 0.28 PLT tokens which is equivalent to 5 US dollars.

Here's another quick tutorial for swapping your BNB to PLT on Pancakswap and Dodo:

Go to https://app.dodoex.io/exchange/BNB-PLT?network=bsc-mainnet (DODOEX) or https://pancakeswap.finance/swap?outputCurrency=0x631c2f0edabac799f07550aee4ff0bf7fd35212b (PANCAKESWAP), then import PLT.
Connect your wallet.
Enter the desired amount of BNB you want to swap for PLT.
Click confirm, you have to approved the transaction first and it will cost you a little gas.
After the approval, click swap/confirm order then you're good to go. Just wait for the transaction to go through, it will eventually reflect on your wallet in no time.

Then if you have PLT tokens already on you wallet, you can now play the lottery.

With your wallet's dAPP/Browser, go to the lottery game website https://pltlotto.com/. Click the Connect Wallet and make sure that you are connected to Smart Chain.

Scroll down a bit and you'll see the botton Buy Tickets. Just above it shows the total amount of money that is currently up on prize pool, anyone can actually either win it all if he's extremely lucky or win a fraction from the pool or lost if the player is unlucky enough.

Another window will pop out, it should be like this. Put the number of tickets you plan to purchase (as of writing this a ticket costs 0.28 PLT = $5, because of volatility of cryptocurrencies the price of a ticket in PLT changes from time to time but it's dollar value should still be the same which is 5 US dollars).

You can buy unlimited number of tickets but there's a hundred tickets limit for each transaction, meaning if you want to purchase 300 tickets (or more) you have to do it 3 times.

You should see something like this after the transaction of buying the lottery tickets has been confirmed.

To see the numbers you have got or chosen, just pressed the botton under the Prize Pot, it will show you this (of course the numbers and tickets should be depending on number of ticket you bought and the numbers you have):

How do you win? I'll repeat it again, it's similar to Pancakeswap Lottery game but Poollotto have bigger prize pot and the chances of winning is really high too since there's not much players yet, so if you ever have tried playing lottery on Pancakeswap before you'll love this too.

Each ticket contains 6 digit numbers ranges between 0 and 9, to win all it takes is to have numbers similar to the Lottery Draw number that came out. They have to be in order.

Let's say your ticket holds 078236 and the Draw Numbers are 078457, notice that the first 3 digits are the same it means that you win a fraction from the prize on that round. It doesn't need to be 3 digits to be honest, even a single first number on your ticket is already a win. Having a ticket that matches the draw numbers but the first numbers are different, even if the last five digits are exactly the same and sequential, will not give you a win.

Okay then, after having your ticket and learned the mechanics the next move should be "waiting". Waiting? Yes, waiting. Just wait for the round to finished and the countdown for the draw to end.

After the draw, scroll to this part and click Check Now to see if your ticket/s matched and if you win a prize. If you won you have to claim your prize for it to go to your wallet, have to approved first then claim and you'll received it.

PLT token Staking on DODO DEX

There's also an ongoing liquidity staking for the PLT token on Dodoex, in that dex (decentralized exchange) they call it Mining. It started back on February 15th this year, there's a time limit, and will run until 12th of April.

Since we mentioned that it's a liquidity staking it means that it's a pair which is PLT/BNB. When the staking was released it had a 6000% APR, as more people staked their LP token, as the locked funds on the pool increases, also because of time now it only has 386% APR which is still pretty high.

Anyone can take advantage of the high APR and start earning a passive income by just locking their tokens, it is up to the investor if they wanna try it.
