Recently, in the United Kingdom, there was a fantastic television episode called 'Hypno-Surgery,' which featured a guy getting hypno-surgery. That is, he underwent a hernia operation utilizing only hypnosis as an anesthetic.

Of course, because it's on television, it's a sensation, but these have been done for years. There have been numerous filmed studies and much research on the use of hypnosis alone during surgery. Over the years, many methods have been used to reduce pain, and I have personally experienced many of them, but I have found that hypnosis, combined with a variety of mind abilities and tools, is by far the most effective way of overcoming and changing my response to it.

Can you recall a moment when you had a paper cut and didn't realize it until later that day, when you saw it with your own eyes ? It wasn't until you saw it that you realized how much it hurt and thought to yourself, "oooh, that smarts a bit." This is anaesthesia in its natural state, a capacity that we all have. The glove anaesthetic method is one of the most simple methods for using your mind to create anaesthesia, and I'd like to share it with you today so you can use it whenever you want.

It's important to note that you should only utilize this pain-relieving strategy if you know what's causing your discomfort. If the problem persists, you should see a doctor. Otherwise, utilize this technique to have some fun and remind yourself of how incredible you and your brain are. Step one : Find a quiet location where you won't be interrupted. Close your eyes for a moment .Relax as much as possible. Concentrate on your breathing and keep it consistent, deep, and slow. Consider relaxing each muscle in your body one at a time, taking the time necessary to achieve a comfortable calm physical condition.

Use your imagination to conjure up a favorite spot where you feel secure and at ease. Imagine being able to hear the noises, see the sights, and feel the emotions that you would feel in that location. Focus your conscious mind's awareness on each of your body's muscles, and think the word "soften" into each of them. Allow your imagination to wander as you imagine them melting and relaxing peacefulAllow yourself a few minutes to revel in this.

Step two : Right now, develop a strong feeling of purpose. Remind and convince yourself, using your internal dialogue, that you have the power and ability to manage any sensations in your body and mind. You, after all, do. Say to yourself, "I acknowledge that I am in charge of my own thinking." Imagine and focus on your mind's limitless power, and tell yourself that you can send numbing feelings to any part of your body. Develop a sense of self-confidence and believe in the power of your intellect. Encourage and empower oneself as much as possible.

Imagine that the words of personal strength and belief you speak to yourself are reaching the darkest recesses of your mind.

Consider how they've been accepted on every level of your physical and mental being.

Tell yourself at this point that the word "anaesthesia" will be your key trigger word for a conditioned reaction later on.

Step three : We'll start using the glove anesthetic now.

Begin by concentrating just on your dominant hand, completely ignoring anything else.

Take note of even the tiniest sensations within it.

Begin to imagine that your dominant hand is devoid of all sensations by focusing your concentration.

This will take some time and effort.

Perhaps you can visualize your hand encased in ice using your imagination. Consider how you'd feel if you were in that situation.

Separate your hand from the rest of your actual body in your head. Consider it separate from your bodily self. Continue to concentrate on your hand, allowing it to lose all sensation.

Tell yourself that your hand is growing numb using your internal dialogue once more. There was no emotion at all. Your mind sends a signal to your hand to sleep. Tell it to retire for the night. As you focus on it and keep your entire focus and concentration on it, be aware of all the odd feelings in your hand.

Tell yourself that each breath you take causes your hand to turn into a number, and then a number, until you can't feel it at all. Because your hand is numb, you can't feel it at all. There's no emotion. Numb. Tell yourself that with conviction and authority.

Step Five : Now you'll transfer this lack of sensation to the portion of your body where you want to be numb and anaesthetized. So, if you're confident that you've achieved the desired level of numbness in your hand, raise it and place it on the portion of your body where you want to feel numb.

You'll transfer the numbness to that portion of your body if you do this. So raise your hand and place it on the region of your body that you wish to become cool and numb. Consider the numbness as a color that you're spreading throughout that area. Consider imagining that region of your body being filled with that color and numb. Assume that all of your numbing sensations are being transferred to that portion of your body. Allow the numbness to spread to the rest of your body.

Then take a few seconds now to do it properly and thoroughly. As you're doing it, set a time restriction for how long you'll be doing it. Naturally, you don't want that region of your body to be numb for the rest of your life. As a result, make sure you give yourself a deadline for when your self-induced anaesthesia will stop.

Step Six : Now that the calming, soothing, numbing coolness has been delivered, you're physically feeling better in that location. Enjoy the feelings and wonder at how great you are. Imagine a sense of calm pervading the environment. Consider how amazing it feels to be relieved in that place. Take a few deep breaths and relax totally. At this stage, recite to yourself a short mantra of support: "Calm, cool, soothing, numbing feelings pervade the area." It gets better and better. "Numbness, relief, and more numbness." Use the words that you enjoy the best.

Step Seven : When you've kept the state and are confident that you're feeling great. Say the term "anaesthesia" to yourself so that each time you use it in the future, when you have the correct purpose and conditions to do it again, the resources from this session will be brought forward to make the next time even greater. Deeply inhale, enjoy your body and mind's sensations, and repeat the word to yourself. Trust that each time you use it in the future, it will have the great effect of improving and intensifying your anesthetic control.

Step Eight : Now it's time to harness the mind's extraordinary potential by visualizing yourself performing it even better next time. Imagine that each time you do this, you feel more in control of your own mind. Take pleasure in this realization. In your mind, create every element of this upcoming event, including your reaction and the reactions of others. And by doing so, you're communicating your goal to the layers of mind that will help you produce this natural anaesthetic more effectively each time. Tell yourself that every time you use that word while practicing your anesthetic, it works more profoundly and powerfully

Imagine how fantastic you'll feel about it and what you'll be able to accomplish with the strength of your thoughts.

Spend a few moments doing this in silence.

Step Nine : When you have thoroughly absorbed all you can from this magnificent experience, open your eyes and recall all that has been communicated.

Step ten : Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse. It gets better and more thorough the more you practice.

You might want to practice on your arm first. Pinch your arm till it aches to determine your pain tolerance level in that arm before you do it. Once that, test how different the sensations are after it's been anaesthetized.

THIS ENTRY WAS TAGGED WITH ANAESTHESIA, BODY, FEEL, HAND, IMAGINE, MIND, TIME AND POSTED IN ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE.
