Title: Names can trigger

Sometimes people can mess you up so badly that said name can trigger you for a period of time. An abuser, a bad ex, a terrible friend, a toxic family member, to name a few. Sometimes people can be so bad that they ruin a perfectly good name.
This is relevant because I hit it off with this one girl, but she ended up having the same name as someone who really fucked up my life. Worse is that that person played the victim when I took the fall. I kinda froze up when she told me her name, and ngl, I kinda wanted to cry because of what happened in the past.
I am going to therapy and all, because this is obviously not normal, and the name in question is a common one, but yeah, sometimes all it takes is a name to mess with your head.
