@Halmarkey

Maulan? Malamig? Magfarming ka, iinit ang mundo mo..lol!

@Halmarkey

Merry Christmas!! Sorry for being inactive lately. Been busy with the farm, business and family.

@Halmarkey

It is FRIghting day for me!! Yeahh!! It is been a week to remain atrong and healthy!! Our Mama pig Gave birth and I am the one nursing her.. Got sleepness night through the week. Nursing her at the same time manage to report for duty in the shop. Vine was absent for 4 days now and it was so challenging in my part. I need to be in the store at least as early as 7am after taking good care of the Mama pig and the piglets same with our chickens that needs to feed before I leave. At lunch time, I close the shop not to take a lunch break but to return to the farm to check and feed them again. Come back to the shop and be on duty until 5:30 pm and go straight to the farm to nurse and feed again our farm animals. It was not that easy to be an hands on farmer but then, I have a goal that I need to reach soon!! I don't rely to any helper because I want to learn everything in about hog farming. I need to understand every little thing on the process. Yes, its been a week that mama pig gave birth and it teaches me so much and that is priceless for me. Been struggling but thank God for sustaining me as I start this journey!! Everybody may leave me, but there is always HIM that is faithful to me. Expect more struggle and a reward soon!!🤣

@Halmarkey

Karya Uno got 8 healthy piglets for her st parity!! Yeeheyyy!! Praise God for the early blessings!! We did not expect that much but He really gives us what we don't deserve to appreciate that He is really good all the time. Sorry everyone kung inactive ako lately. Super busy with these cuties!!

@Halmarkey

Lol!!

@Halmarkey

Here is the update for Mama Pig's delivery!! Today is her 114th day and she due any time soon!! We slept at the sty last night for close monitoring. See pictures for the references. It will be another night tonight at the sty. Yeah!! Literally, we are living together with the Mama pigs🤣🤣..

+1 more

@Halmarkey

Yay!! Our first Mama Pig is turning 114 days pregnant tomorrow!! It is her 1st parity and my 1st time to experience her labor. Praying and hoping to her smooth and safety delivery!! We will be sleeping in the sty later to monitor her.lol!

@Halmarkey

Saan aabot ang ganda mo?! Lol! Hindi bawal umawra as long as nasa lugar. Nagmamaganda lang po! Hahaha..Pero I dare you, saan aabot ang ganda mo kung baboy ang background mo🐽😂. Char!! Been inactive for a while but my BCH wallet keep on beeping that I received something so it is a reminder to check you out guys.

@Halmarkey

Out of 20 chicks we only got 8 healthy broiler chickens to harvest!! I posted last time about venturing into broiler chicken since the pig farming is not that profitable at this time so we added these broilers for another source of income soon. We tried 20 heads last Oct 22 we intend to raise it for my son's birthday this coming week. Since this is our 1st time we don't know how to do it in the right way.They got flu and only 8 was left for harvest. Inspite of the loss, I got another 20 heads to raise for business.

@Halmarkey

Cliqq rewards Redeemed!! Sorry for not updating few days ago, I am emotionally and physically tired at wala sa mood.. In God's grace I am still fighting inside out😍

@Halmarkey

Are you drowning in pain and problems?here is for you: The picture attached is what I posted on "myday" today! I smile because God is giving me enough grace in everyday. Last Saturday my grandmother was buried and in just a couple of days my Aunt died! How can I wear a smile when your heart is aching? How about my pocket, can she still smile?! "In everything, give thanks!" says the Lord. Both in good and bad situation, we are ought to be grateful. Everything that happens are always in our favor. In due time, you will understand and God be glorified. Just wear a smile!be grateful😍

@Halmarkey

Artificial Insemination!! Yay!! Our Mama Pig No. 2 got her 2nd AI earlier. The 1st failed because of ST Paeng, she was over stressed crossing the flooded sty for evacuation. It was her 5th day of AI when ST Paeng came. I really hope and pray that this time it will be a success one. So far for almost 7 months of farming, I am enjoying and learning a lot!! I just want to experience to witness and be hands on on the time our Mama pig is giving birth. So excited for our Mama Pig No.1 that will be due on the last week of this month..

@Halmarkey

Getting ready and getting excited?! On the 29th of this month, November our 1st Mama pig is due to give birth for her 1st parity!! It is her 1st and our 1st time too!! I have mixed emotions because as first timer I have no actual experience about it aside from reading & video viewing but I am more excited to learn and claim God's blessings!! November will be busier than the usual month for us but I am blessed being busy!!lol!

@Halmarkey

My students Markeyboy wears his complete uniform for the 1st time.lol! The navy blue pants was not available in the market and that caused the delay. My eldest daughter is not wearing a uniform because they are required since there is shifting of new uniform and hers was just finished yesterday by the dresmaker and she decided to wear it starting on Monday next week. Masakit sa bulsa magkaroon ng students but it is fulfulling as a parent that in thick and thin you can send your kids to school. Seeing them made me feel blessed.

@Halmarkey

We are here again in the farm!! Hubby is making an extra cage for chicks. I ordered another set of broiler but it has delay of delivery because of the unpassable bridges along the way. Paeng damages are felt until now. There are more or less 5 bridges in our province that were damaged. I don't know how long and how far the damage will be felt. Shortages of food deliveries and other essential products are the most felt at the moment. Time will come, "tanim mo, kain mo" at "alaga mo, katay mo".. So how will you survive if you don't have anything planted and raised?

@Halmarkey

It's my Lola's funeral day but I am here manning the shop. It @Jellyvine 's day off so have no choice but to open the shop. Am I that bad because I did not attend my grandma's funeral? I am planning to visit her tomb tomorrow instead. Am I heartless at this point or I am just prioritizing life after losing her. I just value my income and customers over her funeral. Besides she can't appreciate my presence anymore. That is the only comfort I could think. She is blessed because she is resting already but for us, life must go on. Mas kelangan kong kumita after gumastos. I can smile parin naman inspite and dispite of heaviness I am carrying. Di lang talaga halata because I know God will remain faithful to me.

@Halmarkey

My everyday life routine!! Wake up in the morning prepare our pack lunch then go to the shop then at around 11am it is time for bathing the Mama Pigs, feeding them, the chicks and the chickens. Back to the shop until closing time. At 6pm close the shop and go back to the farm to feed again our farm animals. That is my everyday life routine. In the morning, my husband is the one who feeds them before going to his work so more or less 5:30am he is doing it. About the picture, it is ATM (at the moment) crossing the creek to the farm. How do you plan your everyday life determines your future.

@Halmarkey

They are now relaxing and feel at home after days in their evacuation or temporary shelter in the modst of typhoon.. I really do hope and pray that their babies won't be affected with the stress they had experience during the flood. Happy to see them recovering.

@Halmarkey

Updating my 45 days broiler!! They are now in 13th day!! They are all survivors after Typhoon Paeng. They survive without light that will keep them warm because of the blackout in our area. I did not expect that they will survive for 2 days of no light. Praise God for it. This is our first time and experimental for business soon!! The original plan is to raise for my Markeyboy's birthday but because I am a business minded, I will continue the cycle for Christmas or coming holiday season. #farming is life!!

@Halmarkey

Yay!! They got 5 eggs and still counting!! They are eggs for breeding.. Dati kala ko pag sinabing egg, lahat pwedeng kainin..I mean, kinakain naman talaga pero my tinatawag pala na for breeding at hindi pala yan for consumption..Yun ung mga egg formed through mating. Yung egg for consumption, yun yung mga eggs na formed without mating or because of the food the layer or hen eats. At least ha, I'm growing in farming.. #farming101

@Halmarkey

"Undas" To update about undas, syempre eto ang aming ganap!!

@Halmarkey

Smile!! God is always good!! In every situation, take time to smile!! Wheehh?! * God moves in your favor * You might not understand but you are blessed in every situation you are in * You are claiming something great soon * You might save someone Updated na ba ang noise app nyo? Salamat naman at my "mark as read" na feature na. About the picture, that was my OOTD before "Paeng"strikes.

@Halmarkey

The original plan was to feed the evacuated Mama Pigs , (yes, literally we evacuated them from their farrowing before they get drowned when Paeng strikes) and we will proceed to the market to buy some dried fish then Prepare for church. When we arrive at the farm banana trees were scattered on the ground because of flood and wind so my husband started to clean up until we did not notice the time, we were late for market and church. We did not have our breakfast from home so we ended up with the cupnoodles. Been busy the whole day cleaning up and we closed our day by transfering Mama Pigs back to thier sty. I had a good night sleep and I am awake at this hour. All glory to God!!

@Halmarkey

More or less 28 hours until this hour of no electrical power because of the Typhoon "Paeng". As expected, everybody emptied their cellphone batteries. As a remedy, our barangay captain opened the generator for all for free charging. Charraaannn!! What is the update of pareng paeng in your area?

@Halmarkey

Here is the struggle!! Whaahh!! I really don't know what to do. My husband is at work and he can't help with the situation. We are affected by typhoon "Paeng" and we don't expect that it will be this hard. We only had signal no. 1 in our area but the heavy pours longer hours that caused this flood. This is the first time that the creek overflowed that caused this flood.. May God still bless us!!

@Halmarkey

'twas a rainy day today!! My struggle is, going to-and-fro to feed the chickens and Mama Pigs for lunch and late afternoon meal. Our way to the sty and coop is muddy and I have no boots to use (already ordered online) Imagine my feet soaking in the mud?! I manage to smile though the weather is bad. The secret? I just love what I am doing. I consider struggles as part of the process and are not everything of the result. I am just excited of the result, not only for the finished product but for the learnings I can gain. Keep dry and safe pipz!!

@Halmarkey

Aside from broilers we had native chickens! This concludes my day. More to go pa .minsan napipikon ako at masakit din tlaga.Guess nyo ano ginagawa ko pag tinuka ako? Lol

@Halmarkey

Standing by, a waste time? It's a no, no for me!! To be productive while waiting, I opened my paymath and solve problems. Hindi ako sanay magwaste ng time. Salamat talaga at maraming pwedeng habang nakaupo.
