Good Moral, Attitude and Behavior.
Allah's Apostle, (pbuh) said: "I guarantee a house amidst the Paradise to him who avoids arguments, although he is correct. I also guarantee a house amidst Jannah to him who avoids lying, even jokingly. I also guarantee a house at the top (upper) side of Jannah to be whosoever improves his behaviour, attitude and morals." (Reported by Abu Dawood. See Sahil-Ul-Kami, Hadith#1464)
Allah's Apostle, (pbuh) indicates that the major acts that enable people to enter Jannah are their good character, behavior morals and attitudes. Similarly, the major acts that drive people to enter the Hell-Fire are the results of their mouths and private parts.
Truly, good moral character is very comprehensive encompassing many things which have been summed up by Aishah, (pbuh) saying: "The Glorious Qur'an was his complete code of ethics and morals" (Reported by Muslim, Ahmad and others).
In fact, Allah's Apostle, (pbuh) is our model to follow any trace in our lives if we desire success in this life and in the hereafter. ALLAH, the Almighty praised the character of His slave servant messenger Muhammed Bin Abdullah, (pbuh) saying in Glorious Qur'an: "And thou (standed) on an exalted standard of character." [Qur'an 68:4]
We ought to examine the Glorious Qur'an, the Muslim constitution, the concise book of ethics, the way of life for Muslims and all faithful people in order to study, learn, comprehend and apply in our own lives.
We must study, examine, follow, and apply the biography of our beloved Prophet, (pbuh) which has been carefully noted and completely recorded authentically reported from generation to generation. These two sources beyond any shadow of doubt, have the basic concise, complete and comprehensive lists of morals, ethics, attitudes that prove beneficial and sound for any society, eastern or western, Arab or non Arab, Educated or uneducated. Such code of ethics will itself make a civilization and produce civilized people.
