Thanks to my sponsors I really appreciate you people cuz you are awesome and wonderful. Love you all.

How could he tell him that things were now worst than the could get? What would he think of her that she could not keep their home in his absence? How could she tell him that at the moment. Jake was no where to be found? That a 17 years old wondered away from home and she could not do anything about it? As all these thoughts gnawed at her, she trembled from within and her frame shook against Amos body. He thought she shook from cold. So he hurriedly led her away from the lobby to the waiting car in the parking lot.

On their way home, she couldn't resist the urge to ask him what gave him so much calm after hearing all the things that had transpired in his absence. She had told him of the deterioration of all three children, Jake's disappearance from home, and all he did was smile. For some time, she fell silent has she turned the whole scenario over in her mind. She couldn't place it. Something might serious had to have happened to her husband. He was never this calm. Jake and the girls trembled whenever he was home. They didn't dare do anything silly because they knew the repercussions. And now there he sat beside her, looking so happy, so content. Even with the disheartening things that she had told him he remain calm.

She broke the silence by repeating the same question. This time , he looked down at her adoringly and started to tell her of his encounter with the saviour of mankind. He didn't even been half way through his story when he sobs tore through her throat. She hadn't intended to cry, but she lost control of her self. At that instance, she knew the only thing she really needed was thesame encounter Amos talked about.

With tears in her eyes she looked fixedly at Amos. "Can he save me too? I really want to make amends for all the mistakes I've made with my life and those of the kids." I'm very sorry her voice trialled off. The vibration caused by her sobs shook even Amos.

There in the back seat of the airport taxi, Amos led his wife to the lord, the transformation in the father and mother marked a whole new beginning for the Thompsons. Things however remained the same way they had been. But Amos kept reassuring Margaret that things would be fine. She had to look beyond the present confrontations because there were better days ahead.

Amos had decided to resign the job that so much took him away from home, he needed more time with his family. He had realized that his absence had contributed in no small way to the many problems they had. Margaret's eyes too had been opened to the fact that she nagged and complained more than she commended and complimented the children. She realised that she needed to appreciate them more.

As both parents Began to correct what they had done to their children, they began noticing dramatic changes in their daughter, June soon started to spend more time in the house. All the colour that had left Jasmine's cheek soon returned. They were gradually becoming a family again. They now prayed together ate together, play together and had picnics together, still Margaret was concerned about Jake. None knew his whereabouts. But they never ceased to pray for him. By this time her two girls had come to accept the lordship of Christ.

One Saturday morning, then Thompson had just ended their devotion when that heard a faint knock on the door. Amos went to see who it wad. To his utmost amazement, a rough looking Jake stood at the doorway. His hairs was dishevelled, his eyes bloodshot. He looked like he had just surfaced from a slum. He quickly stepped aside for the young man to step inside the living room.

Amos saw the fear in his son's eyes and drew him into a very close embrace. Jake was very sobered and the tears just flowed down freely. When he broke free from the almost suffocating hug with his dad, he went straight to where Margaret sat and numb. Crying , he let out the words he had to constantly rehearsed for two whole weeks. He said amidst sobs, " you'd be justified if you refuse to forgive me. I don't deserve your forgiveness knowing how much pain i have caused you. I'm really sorry mana." He called her mama! That's something he hadn't done in a long while. She was moved she too began to cry.

Conclusion

No matter the situation we find ourselves let us know that it's just for a while no condition is permanent. Enjoy the rest of your day love you allπŸ₯°πŸ˜.

The story is great..it is really important to give ourselves and faith to our Lord, put our Lord in the center in everything we do..that was good that the couple realize their lacks to their family and change for it's good, and started to open their hearts to God. And I was happy that their son also realized his mistake.
