Gopal Bhar or Gopal Bhand was a court jester in medieval Bengal.He was in the court of Raja Krishanchandra (1710-1790)Ad then the king of Nadia in 18th century .
Gopal used to give joy to others by laughter and ridicule. The king consider gopal as a Navaratna of his court. His statue can still be seen in the places of Krishanchandra and in ghurni ,krishnagar town .Gopal is believed to have proceed to keen intelligence.
Born: Gopal Chandra pramanik..ghurni Nadia Raj. (present day ::Kirisnagar Nadia, west Bengal.
Died:kirisnaghar Nadia Raj (present day - west Bengal Nadia ::1702-1756 AD)
Religion :Hindusim
Occupation : courtier and register in the court of Raja Kirisnachanra.
