Three hardworking sisters from Lahore, who preferred to stand on their own two feet out of self-help and hardship instead of living on the needs of others, and driving a rickshaw for other women. Set a high example.
These three courageous women are Nasreen , Saima and Shahnaz, who started their career by taking rickshaws in installments and are making a living from it. Talking, Nasreen said that her domestic situation was not good, the children are small and there is no head to earn, so she was trying to work on her own.
She said that one of her sister's husband had died and the other sister's husband was ill, so instead of working in people's homes, she decided to go out and do something. According to Nasreen, the three sisters first learned to drive a rickshaw and then took a rickshaw in monthly installments of Rs 5,000. "My two sisters drive rickshaws," he said. She says it's better to ask or do good or bad.
She added that there were many difficulties during the lockdown. There was no food or drink, just people helping out. Another sister, Saima, said we had no income. He learned to drive a rickshaw from a friend who used to drive a rickshaw. I started riding a rickshaw to educate my children. I am educating my children by taking care of my household expenses.
The third sister, Shahnaz, apologized for making the video and expressing her views in front of the camera, but said that she also drives a rickshaw with her sisters and is happy to earn a decent living. Nasreen said that the three sisters were afraid that if they went out and did anything, people would harass them, but when their sister Saima said that a friend of theirs was driving a rickshaw, we advised her to learn to ride a rickshaw Yes, he learned to drive a rickshaw from his friend and we got our sister a rickshaw in installments.
Then he taught the other two sisters to ride a rickshaw. After that, they both sold their jewelery and bought rickshaws in installments. Nasreen says she is now earning a decent living by driving a rickshaw. Expressing happiness, he said that in the beginning he thought that it would be difficult for him to get out, but he was proved wrong. According to Nasreen, she was surprised when people outside saw her driving a rickshaw and encouraged her. He said that now people stop and greet him and also appreciate his hard work.
