With all his might, I summon the Chaos Knight, right? (A Splinterlands battle challenge)
What is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a card game, similar with Hearthstone, where you can play battle against other players to get a better rank or in tournaments. It is an NFT game based on Hive Blockchain.
The Chaos Knight is a decent common Life unit, with 3 Melee Attack, 3 Speed, 5 Armor and 6 Health at max level 10, and for 6 Mana cost can offer Shield at level 1, reducing Melee and Ranged Damage, Giant Killer doing double damage on cards costing 10 Mana or more, and Inspire at level 9, increasing all your monsters cards Melee Damage by 1.
So, for the challenge, this were the starting conditions:
Mana Limit: 14
Rulesets: Healed Out (No healing) and Equalizer (All health of monsters is equal with the highest),
Mine - Summoner: General Sloan (Bonus +1 Ranged attack) with Chaos Knight as main tank, reducing Melee and Ranged damage with Shield and a useless Gian Killer skill, Furios Chicken as fodder to take one extra hit, Armorsmith with Armor Repair, Silvershield Archer with Double Strike and Snipe, hunting Ranged and Magic users and Soul Fiend to defend the back from Sneak attacks
Opponent - Summoner: General Sloan (Bonus +1 Ranged attack), with Chaos Agent (having Dodge and Phase to resist more) and Soul Fiend to tank in front, Time Mage with Slow and Rust, reducing Armor and Speed, Celestial Harpy with Opportunity (attack lowest health monster) and True Strike (never miss), and a powerful Stitch Leech with Sneak (attack last monster in the team) and Life Leech (increase health when does damage), giving me hard times due to its final high health.
This was a interesting battle, with his Time Mage dying first, followed by my Soul Fiend. The in the 4th round I managed to kill his Chaos Agent tank and my Silvershield Archer got killed by the Leech. With a last push, I killed the Harpy, and I got lucky as the Leech was hitting the Armor, repaired by the Armorsmith, and my Chaos Knight was slowly going through its 16 Health. Another 7 rounds and I finally won.
Star of the game - The Armorsmith, without doubt, for keeping the tank alive through the game.
On the side note, my continuous support for Splintertalk.io is going well, with my SPT tokens number raising to 1 million. All of it is delegated to @monster-curator, as this account is doing a great work curating the best posts on the forum. I have finally reached the needed SPT power (101K at the moment) to manually curate on Splinterlalk.io. Also, working on acquiring 50K Oneup (1882 UP now) next, inspired by the Cartel efforts. Fancy the idea of having 200K Level too, for PsiberX airdrop, as I also managed to round up 100 Hive to buy a piece of Land in their game.
