Running off, into sweet dreams
refugees from other realms,
seeking solace in a world
where you can get a god
without a capital G, lucid
dreaming seems to be the key,
but this is all so far away,
you may come, you may stay,
anyway, the summer is gone,
so is the fall, darkness seems to
encompass whole worlds,
fighting with words, not swords,
the day is shorter, but we
should remember
that small lights have a way
to be seen in a dark world.
