I started journaling three years ago. Since then, everything changed.
My motivation, my social life. Heck, even my health.
It wasn't easy to make but as soon as I started it all made perfect sense.
The first step was to understand what journaling is, and why it is so important.
Then, I needed to find the best routine for me.
I figured out what to write in my journal and how to use it.
As I saw the benefits, I started convincing everyone around me to start doing it, too.
Today, I have a chance to introduce you to my favorite journaling process and hopefully, you will make the same decision as me.
My journey hasn't ended yet but all these changes make me confident that it will be worth it.
What is journaling?
Defining a journal is pretty hard. A lot of people confuse it with a diary or a log. It's similar but not the same. The main reason I started doing it was because of my big goals, which I used to have on my wall and never managed to achieve. It was just a nice picture and nothing more.
But one day something changed. I read this quote:
"Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein
I wanted to learn more about life, so I started searching for advice from successful people on the Internet. And one thing they all had in common was that they were avid journalers.
What does it have to do with me, you ask?
Crypto life is full of regrets. You constantly blame your past self for not making the right investment on time. Journaling helps you to see things from a broader, healthier perspective.
You can always go back and say to yourself: "I can't do anything about the past, but it doesn't mean I can't change my future."
Journaling will help you to handle your fears and doubts so that you could achieve your goals. Fear is a natural thing in our lives but we don't have to let it control us.
The more often you write down your thoughts, the more things get better. You become more confident and less anxious. You're focused on the current moment and actually start enjoying it instead of thinking about some boring, impossible dream.
Don't delay it. Start journaling tonight. Here are the first five guiding questions you can write about.
1:"How did you feel today?"
2:"What do I enjoy most in life?
3:"Do I do it often enough?"
4:"What are my biggest regrets?"
5:What would I do if I had all the money in the world?
In my next posts, I'll publish more questions and guidelines for effective journaling.
Thanks for reading.
