Are You Busy? December 30, 2021 Today, we are commemorating Rizal day, the day when our national Hero Jose Rizal was executed at Bagumbayan, which is now called as Rizal Park. We are all remembering the works of Jose Rizal, his sacrifice for the country and his contributions. If every one are at home because it is a holiday in the Philippines, I was at work and doing an inventory.

Me and my team are in different warehouse and we are counting all our products. It is a team work because everyone is busy, wanting to finish it immediately because we are all in a holiday mood. I am definitely on a holiday mode last night but this morning I need to get up and to focus on the job that needs to be done. We kind of having common goals and that is to go home immediately. Me, I kept on thinking that I need to have a Grocery, by hook or by crook so I conditioned my team members that these are only the task I will do so that I can squeeze in going to Grocery and but the needed ingredients for tomorrow. I am planning to make Chicken macaroni salad and carbonara. I finished buying all the ingredients before 30 minutes. That is the advantage if you know where the products are located in the Grocery store. The problem is that I didn't get a Grocery cart, and all of the available ingredients I needed are in cans. It was very hard for me to lift the tray so after getting all the ingredients, I went straight to the cashier. I have my officemate with me, so when my grocery bag was paid, I left the bag in the counter yo get back inside the Grocery store to meet with her. That is the time I got a stroll on some items and I was having second thoughts if I will buy those.

I saw Korean Noodles along the way and I was thinking if I will buy two, just to have a little twist in food preparation tomorrow for New Year, however we already plan to have carbonara I stroll some more.

It has been a long time since I have chocolates stock at home. I really want to buy M&M's but I know only my nephew will consume it all. My nephew has this attitude that whatever food you brought home, as long as he wanted it, he will own it. He will hide it from you. I cahnaged my mind and stroll some more.

Then I saw Lays. Just like with chocolates, I am a fan of Lays. When it comes to chips I go to the branded ones. Yes it is not cheap but when it comes to taste, I am truly satisfied. Then I remember I was not active in eating something with sodium. I hardly eats chips at present. The only eating and drinking habit I have been doing that never out of my system is drinking coffee. When I saw my officemate inside the Grocery store, I was holding a cranberry juice for my sister. She is having a pain in her lower back so I'm thinking she have uti, just like what sometimes happens to me. That is the last item I bought and I know it is okay. Are you busy? While I was at the Grocery store waiting for our shuttle to pick us up, I was looking at the face of the people. I kept seeing worrisome and stress faces. Some are computing in advance the item they bought, some are kind of lost of what are the cheaper to cheapest, maybe to meet their budget and some are too excited, their cart are full. Everyone are in a hurry. Everyone is willing to prepare for the upcoming New Year celebration. It is okay to get busy as long as you are doing it for yourself and for the good of people around you. Now I am at home, I am on another busy mode because of my night shift for my two online jobs. I am sleepy but I think I can maintain to be awake just to meet my goal.
