Karma defines balance in every sense. The definition of Karma runs deep as the creation story itself. It is one of the most important laws of creation. Karma is justice. How does it work? If a man goes to the farm today to plant cocoyam, will he expect to reap potatoes? If a farmer sows seeds of corn, will he expect to harvest beans? The laws are as simple as that. When a man sows a seed, it will mature and then multiply, the seed will bring forth fruits in more quantities. The same principle applies to when you sow a good or bad seed How do you sow seeds? Your words, your thoughts, and your deeds are the three ways through which you sow seeds. **Words** Have you ever heard of the power of the tongue? Have you ever said something out loud and it happened? There is power in words, when you say something or wish for something, you are actually sowing a seed - Good or bad. Be mindful of what you say at all times, speak positively all the time even when things get hard and you will see the magic in the power of words. **Thoughts** Aside from just words, we can also sow seeds with our thoughts. The mind is a powerful place, that is why you need to keep the heart of your thoughts pure at all times. Feed your thoughts with positive flow, by doing this you sow good seeds. **Deeds** This simply refers to your actions. This is the physical manifestations of your words and thoughts. Your words, thoughts, and actions are the tools through which a man sows seeds. If you have ever thought about hurting someone and the person eventually gets hurt, you have played a part in that activity hence you have sown a seed. The balance of the world must be restored, nature has a way of doing this. The only advantage we have as humans is that we have free will. We have the power to sow good seeds or bad seeds. There is a bit of conflict between Karma and Forgiveness Karma vs Forgiveness If Karma is real then forgiveness does not really exist - at least this was what I thought. You see, this law is so powerful that it can be applied to a lot of concepts today. When a man sows bad seed, this seed multiplies and bring forth more fruit, but if this person decides to change his ways at any point by sowing good seeds, the negative reaction from the bad seeds will be neutralized A big accident that could have taken his life could come down to just his leg hitting a stone...Forgiveness Conclusion There are a lot of religious believes out there today, everyone is entitled to theirs. The concept of karma itself can be seen in our daily activities, you just have to open your eyes to see. Karma is neither good nor evil, our actions, words, and thoughts decide what is good and evil. I strongly believe in the pursuit of the truth, you need to be open-minded. I do not know much at this point but this much I do, the truth can take various forms and can be found in different places but it remains the same. The truth is universal. It's like a mirror. The reflection you see in mirror is your own structure. Like that, karma is your own reflection of deeds.

Like with the Golden rule, "do not do unto others what you don't want to be done unto you." I think that's why it's called the golden rule because I feel like every religion believes in it and has a name for it. in the hindu's case, it's called karma.

Unfortunately, this is not God's way but rather the way of eastern mysticism. It is plain and simply put, a lie from Satan. Nowhere in the Bible is this principle taught. In fact, we are all deserving of death (Romans 3:23). Karma teaches that a person's good can outweigh the bad. However, the Bible says our good works are like filthy rags (Isaiah64:6). Karma is but one more heresy and aspect of syncretism, that is, the mixing of false teachings into Christianity. Moreover and finally, inherent in every concept of karma is the continuous process of reincarnation which errantly affirms that a person's acts from a previous life ultimately determine the situation of a person's next life. This is blatant false teaching, the likes of which people were stoned to death.
I really appreciate your addition to this. I am always open to learning new things and more importantly discovering the truth. Do you also know people were stoned to death for speaking the truth, that act alone was barbaric and a sin before God? More so, you seem to be so sure Karma is false but note this, the truth can take different forms, teachings and religions but remain the same. Since we are on the topic of Bible, I would advise you check out Galatians 6: 7. I might be wrong, yes, but I am always open to seeking the truth. You raised the question how one may be sure. Cool, glad you brought that up. Karma stems from the Hindu and Buddhist religions (as well as 2 others, Janist, for example). If one reads their teachings, not only do they contradict one another, but there are multiple Gods one may choose to worship. Conversely, the Bible is the word of God. It reveals One God manifested in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. This triune God is supported in myriad verses sans contradiction. You bought up Galatians 6:7. Great! Do you know the purpose of Paul's writing to the Galatians? They were turning to another gospel! Galatians is the abbreviated version of the Book of Romans. Back to 6:7: But did you read verse 8? Here you go, the explanation by Paul regarding verse 7: "Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life" (Galatians 6:8, NIV). Religion in the Bible is what one does for orphans and widows. But Christianity is a personal relationship with Jesus, which is different than all other religions. Indeed, even extrabiblical sources (Josephus, for one) testify of Jesus as a real Person. Finally, but not least of all, mounds, yes loads of archeology proves myriad facts about the Bible's veracity. No other faith can claim this. All of the other gods either did not exist or remain in the grave. But Jesus was resurrected from the grave and appeared to more than 500 people over a period of 40 days. "In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven" (Hebrews 1:1-3, NIV). the one true God: Son, not a prophet; the revelation of God (Jesus); the Agent of creation; Jesus the heir of all things; God - the exact imprint; the sustainer; the Savior of humanity for all who believe; and Lord. This is getting interesting. Yes, God did save all of humanity by sending his only begotten son through him we have attained salvation to those who believe. Despite the origin, the concept of sowing and reaping is a law that has been in existence right from the point of creation. I am really glad you brought our Lord Jesus Christ into the discussion. Think about this. The 4 gospels talk about the parables of Jesus Christ, the parable of the shower was one of the teachings of Christ to his disciples, planting in good soil to reap plenty and planting on a poor soil represents those who refuse to believe his Gospel, dive in deeper, how do we sow (according to the gospel)? Words, actions, and thoughts. If the seed is the gospel, the good soil is the people who accept and believe this gospel, and the poor soil are those not ready to believe, are you aware that is exactly what "Karma" is all about? Yes the Buddhist and Hindus call it "Karma", but we all have different ways of expressing this law in different regions, it is the one law that is universal in a lot of religious beliefs out there. The truth can not change. Think about this for a moment, I'm sure you will see the truth in what I have just said.
We will agree to disagree at this juncture. What you are promoting is syncretism, the mixing of another religious belief with Christianity which is heresy. Keep this in mind: Karma necessitates and teaches reincarnation, a false teaching at that, for we read: "Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27, NIV).
