To enlist the loyalty of followers or people, the leader must categorize the followers or people according to the kind of #power they desire and provide same for them.
Generally, people crave three, though not mutually exclusive types of power:
Economic power
Information power
Access power
Economic power: most followers or people, what they need from you is $50 to solve their problem, while others may probably need more.
As a leader you need to understand, this type of followers or people. These followers or individuals need economic power from you, no matter how small or big, let something come from you to them.
If you want to hear what is happening around you, empower them #economically, no matter how small. Give them food, drink and while they are leaving; give them transportation money, any one that is planning to hurt you.
They will inform you; your enemies, they will tell you. Just be giving them something, every now and then. They are also in the offices, give them positions that suit them.
Information power: this type of followers or people; all they need is information from you, as a leader. When they call you; you are busy, tell them now you are busy, when you are less busy call them back. They derive pleasure in getting reliable #information from you.
They are happy that the information; of the visit of the governor or commissioner or the professor to the #state or town came from them. They take pleasure in circulating verifiable information.
Provide them with the information that is reliable. "Boss say". They will remain loyal.
Any one that is thinking of taking your property, they will inform you, where they are saying evil about you they will tell you; who,where and when.
Access power: this type of follower or people; take pride, having access to you the leader.They have your mobile number, know where you reside, your family and relatives.
They brag about you; show friends and relatives they know you: the #president, the #professor,the #governor, the #commissioner, the #lecturer,the #pastor and the #author- on one and one basis.
They snap with you, to show people they know you" reach house". They can reach you at anytime and the leader (you) will respond.
In the office be accessible; they will make your job or business, heaven on earth. Treat them right, if they invite you for an occasion, #honor them. They will be loyal for life.
Learn to give them time once, do small show - when they are sitting in the street or office stop; buy them drinks, sit or drop something. No burger will come near your house. No body will talk evil about you in the office.
You need to understand the people following you, how they perceive you to be. Because, if you don't understand them , they will be getting angry with you unnecessarily and their loyalty will change.
