Litmus paper is an indicator to ascertain the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. Basic chemistry!

Questions in the Christian faith has been raised, on the best way to ascertain God's voice on a matter!

It is very easy to choose between a good thing(way) and a bad thing(way). I mean we have the bible and conscience to guide us.

But it become very difficult for people to make choice between two good things; to ascertain the will of God for their life, maybe in choosing a life partner, choosing between two job offers, etc.

In cases like these, they agree that indicators(signs/conviction) will be extremely helpful. But here comes another question " what signs are best valid?", since we understand that there are counterfeit to the genuine signs, in order to mislead us.

Signs like dreams, trance, visions, prophecy or peace.

Christian have come to agree that the best is these signs is "GOD'S PEACE" such that surpasses all understandings, since it proceed directly from the inner witness(The Holy ghost).

The world too can give peace!

Your emotions can also make up peace!

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: NOT AS THE WORLD GIVETH, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

So the world can give you peace, when you judge according to the parameter of the world.

Be careful that you call not THE WORLD'S PEACE as GOD'S PEACE.

God's peace surpasses all understanding, and His own peace will not waned with time.

Peace coined from emotions or the world, will waned when trouble comes. Time will reveal which peace you employed!

Always give it time, for to be hasty is to miss it.

Develop a relationship with God, so you don't struggle too much, while making life changing decisions.
