It is true that the pressure is massive, and it is difficult to live in a generation like ours, maintaining godly standards.
The media seem to be against us, our environment war's against us; peer pressure and heightened sexual pressure seem to be the order of the day.
We even seem to fight our very self; for self seem to have yielded without our permission. And painfully, when we look around, we find almost no one to draw strength from!
"Iron sharpen iron, so does a man sharpens the countenance of his friend". Not in a generation you rarely find a Godly man.
In times like these, we complain, we are bitter, and finally succumb to the compromise; for we take thought that we are all alone(without a partner); the only one that doesn't sleep around in the name of relationship, that doesn't do illegal stuff to get cash, that doesn't dress illicitly, that is patient to process.
So we are join with them, against the instruction of the Holy ghost(no dulling, sharp guy).
You're just ignorant; for God always reserve a remnant for himself. Always! In every generation.
Elijah complained just like many of us do, and God made him understand that he has reserved "seven thousand for Himself".
Maybe I should state clearly, "that by serving God, you are not doing Him a favour, but you're highly privileged".
NO ONE IS IRREPLACEABLE!
I mean, you can be replaced!
Stop acting like you were cajoled to serve God. God is not one of the many option. Let God become you're only option, even to the point of death.
Every generation had their own peculiar challenge and some are qualified for the Victor's crown. It is not strange.
What is life without God? What is living without Him.
Do not quit because of the pressure. Everyone is facing the pressure in their dimension, yet some have decided never to bow!
Hold on! In due time you will ripe your labor of love.
Remember He will never allow trials that you cannot bear come to you; if it came, then it means you're up to the task.
