Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Brethren, we have been chosen by God to belong to Him forever. We are beloved of God and thus must live in holiness. The human nature is corrupt and filled with evil. Thus, in order to walk with Christ, we must put on another nature: the nature of Christ. We are only presentable before God when we have the nature of Christ.
The nature of Christ are holiness, mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering. This is a call to abandon our comfort zones and really become like Jesus. It's a call for greater heights. Don't live in the domain of compromise, you are better than that.
In order to be in Christ, we must be like Him.

Thank you Lord for choosing us as the elect. Please help us to do your will, deliver us from worldliness, in Jesus name. Amen.
