"Except the Lord of hosts had left us a very small remnant [of survivors], we should have been like Sodom, and we should have been like Gomorrah". Isaiah 1:9
For every generation, God secludes a remnant for Himself. Those who are called of Him; those who chooses to walk with Him despite the contention. A remnant!
He strategically places them, and uses them to execute his purposes for that generation.
On the contrary, they are not known by size or acquisitions, but by stature, dealings, hunger, dependency, heart, and sacrifice.
Not necessarily the strong ones, but ones that have been made strong out of weakness.
The remnant is a strategy to bring to bearing the move of God in a generation. They in their offices, work hand in hand, bringing the government of God over a territory!
Men like Paul that traveled seas preaching; Anna the prophetess that labored in prayers, Stephen that served tables, Barabbas that gave, Timothy that oversaw, watchmen, Administrators, Judges etc.
Men who will insist that the purposes of God come to past in their territory using their God given offices.
.............
It becomes a problem for a generation, when this sect of persons, are not quickened to know their offices or ordinations, or agree to function in such capacity with their very own life.
When every one wants to be seen, and no one wants to be behind the scene!
When intercessors wants to be pastors, and pastors government officials; when the evangelist wants to the business tycoon etc.
Find your ordination and stay faithful there!
It is in your faithfulness, that you get highly ranked!
This is not a matter to joke with! Our laxity at our posts and offices have caused the body much injury!
If the watchman sleeps and harm comes to the people, it doesn't mean that the king did not do his job. But the kingdom was affected due to the laxity of the watchman.
Let it not be that through your carefree attitude, the remnant is affected. Remember that your bishopric another can take! And in the army ranks can't be joke with!
Can God trust you!
Find your ordination!
Serve there!
If death comes, gladly take it!
