Individuals look out for brand or service that meet their needs. For you to get their attention and respect, you need to do things better than what others are doing in that field.
Your customers, employer, friends and associates, do not care what you do with your life, brand or service. The responsibility depends on you, adding value to whatever you do is your responsibility and not that of others.

It would be nice, if people can count on you for anything and you deliver at the right time, place and amount. You earn their trust.
It is important you surpass the expectations, of your customers, your employer, your friends and the general public. By adding value to whatever you do, add extra stuff to the service or brand you provide, let people know you for something unique.
When you deal with people, go beyond the limit, they are expecting you to reach. They will love to deal with your brand or service, even pay more for the same service others are charging less your amount.
