A HARD SEARCH FOR LOVE
Our world has a LOVE PROBLEM. oh yes!
Everyone yearns to be loved irrespective of their personality.
We want to find that very person, that will care for us unconditionally.
No matter the attitude flaws, we just want to be loved!
Although everyone has this need, we all have a different perspective of what LOVE really is!
How on earth can you find LOVE, when you don't know what LOVE is?
This problem began, when our first society(FAMILY), failed to show us what really LOVE should look like.
So we went seeking for love elsewhere; embraced every open arms, believed every painted beguiling word, misinterprets actions and gestures.
We became hurt, broken, bartered and shattered at the end; transferring aggression on innocent ones.
We, in times like this, need a reference: one who has modeled perfectly, what love should like.
Jesus Christ fits such description. He, taking a form of a servant, dying for our sin and His resurrecting on the third day, truly depicts what love should look like.
The very fallen nature of man, is one that pioneers and promotes selfishness. So a man, in all the days of his life, seeks only after his own good!
A man or woman who truly loves you is one who has;
1) Firstly, learnt love by accepting the love of Christ.
2) Secondly, reciprocated that loved by loving Him back.
3)Thirdly, Love according to Christ standard(what he has received and reciprocated). (1Corith 13:1).
So a man/woman who does not love the Lord Jesus, cannot love you, no matter how hard he/she tries, it will wane away with time.
First experience the love of Christ and reciprocate it, so you know what really love is.
Say no to been heart broken again.
When next you say "YOU LOVE ME" be sure you know what LOVE entails.
