No fewer than eleven persons including a traditional ruler were killed by suspected soldiers from Cameroon at Manga village in Takum Local Government Council pf Taraba State Nigeria.
It was gathered that the incident, which happened in the early hours of Wednesday, came barely a month after soldiers from the country attacked some villages in Kurmi Local Government Council of the state.
Joseph Manga, brother of the traditional ruler, alleged to have been killed by the soldiers, said the soldiers had earlier attacked a neighboring community in Cameroon.
Joseph Manga, who confirmed the incident said that, “The Amazonian separatist soldiers attacked my village Manga” which according to him “is a border community between Taraba State and the Republic of Cameroon.”
Narrating how his brother was killed, Manga said “they first of all attacked a village on the other side of the divide and killed some people before crossing over to attack Manga community.”
He said the community is still busy combining the bush in search of more dead bodies and missing persons
