You have a point there. It's actually better to write our articles in english and that alone has an edge over those articles written in different languages. Most users understand english so they are more likely to view and read articles they understand instead of those written in 'alien' language.

Exactly! This is why I prefer to write English all the time. Although sometimes I used Tagalog when commenting to my Tagalog friends here. And you can't expect an English speaker to upvote a content that he doesn't understand at all. So I suggest, people should practice English content at all times. :)
Same here, I used English in my Articles and commenting in other articles but I also use tagalog when I post short post.
