It was eleven at night and Mario was driving down a lonely road, enveloped in the darkness and tranquility of the night. The trip was long and monotonous, only accompanied by the soft purr of the engine and the sporadic flash of the headlights of the few cars that passed in the opposite direction.

Suddenly, a bright flash lit up the sky, so intense that Mario had to close his eyes for a moment. Upon opening them, he noticed something strange. The road, once deserted and lined with trees, had been drastically transformed. Now, he was surrounded by towering buildings, glowing with neon lights that painted the night sky with vibrant colors. The landscape had changed in a surreal way.

The cars around him were different, with futuristic designs and floated gently over the pavement. Surprised, Mario slowed down and looked around in amazement. The city he was in seemed like something out of a science fiction movie. There was no sign of his old rural world; instead, a modern and advanced metropolis completely surrounded it.

Mario stopped his car on the side of the road and got out to take a closer look. The technology in vehicles and buildings was incredibly advanced, and people walked around with holographic devices that looked like they were from another planet. He felt like a time traveler, lost in an unknown time and place.

He tried to talk to some people, but the language they used was incomprehensible to him. Despite the wonder he felt, a feeling of unease began to overcome him. How had he gotten here? And how could he return to the reality of him?

After what seemed like hours, Mario decided to get back in his car and continue driving. Maybe, he thought, if he kept going, he would find some answer. With his heart racing, he started the engine and pulled onto the road, guided by the hope of finding an exit.

Suddenly, another blinding flash filled the sky. Mario instinctively closed his eyes and, when he opened them again, the futuristic city had disappeared. The deserted road and the familiar trees had returned. The bright modern world had vanished like a fleeting dream.

He stopped the car and rubbed his eyes, trying to comprehend what had just happened. Everything was as before, as if he had never left his reality. With a mix of relief and confusion, Mario continued his journey, reflecting on the strange experience.

As he drove, he couldn’t help but wonder if it had been a hallucination or if he had really crossed over into another dimension. But one thing was certain: that night, on that lonely road, Mario had lived an experience that he would never forget.
