Most of us oftentimes disregard and forget to smile and laugh especially on our bad days. Heartbreaks, sadness, disappointments, criticisms are some of the reason why we failed to appreciate things around us that make us happy, smile and laugh.
In this article, I am going to share with you some health benefits of "Laughter". These benefits surely help you to choose to smile and laugh often despite your bad days. But first, let us define the word laughter. . . .
Laughter is the act or sound of laughing. (according to Cambridge Dictionary)
As children, we laugh many times a day, but as we grow up, our lives tend to be more serious, complicated, and laugh often became rare.
But choosing and finding ways to laugh in your difficult times or days can strengthen your relationships, improve your emotional health, add years to your life, and can find greater happiness too.

It can lighten anger’s heavy load. Sharing a good laugh can diffuse anger and conflict.
It can relax your body. Laughter helps to relax your body for a good laugh relieves physical tension and stress. In fact, it leaves your muscles relaxed for up to 45 minutes after.

How to bring more laughter into your life?
Here are three (3) ways:
Smile. Remember, smiling and laughing are contagious and is the start of laughter. Practice smiling to others like co-workers, people passing in the street cam make a good difference rather than showing a sad face. Remember, sharing is caring. Sharing smile and laugh is free and it also benefits you.
Bring humor into conversations. Asking others their funniest moment today, this week or in their entire life is a good start to bring humor into your conversation, though you just need to be careful when to start this kind of conversation because not all prefer to talk about their funniest moment for this is also their embarrassing memories. If you cannot spend time with fun and playful people, be that person and make others happy and laugh. This way, you will bring happiness to yourself and to others.
Count your blessings. Counting your blessings is the one of the best way to distance yourself from negative thoughts which block humor and laughter. In fact, counting your blessings gives you happiness and joy for you remember how blessed you are.
Laughter reduces your burdens, inspires hope, keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. It also helps you release anger and forgive sooner.
