Laughter is the act or sound of laughing. (according to Cambridge Dictionary)

As children, we laugh many times a day, but as we grow up, our lives tend to be more serious, complicated, and laugh often became rare.

But choosing and finding ways to laugh in your difficult times or days can strengthen your relationships, improve your emotional health, add years to your life, and can find greater happiness too.

Some benefits of laughter are as follows below:

Health benefits (physically)

  • Boosts immunity

  • Decreases or diminishes pains

Health benefits (Mentally)

How to bring more laughter into your life?

Here are three (3) ways:

  • Smile. Remember, smiling and laughing are contagious and is the start of laughter. Practice smiling to others like co-workers, people passing in the street cam make a good difference rather than showing a sad face. Remember, sharing is caring. Sharing smile and laugh is free and it also benefits you.

  • Bring humor into conversations. Asking others their funniest moment today, this week or in their entire life is a good start to bring humor into your conversation, though you just need to be careful when to start this kind of conversation because not all prefer to talk about their funniest moment for this is also their embarrassing memories. If you cannot spend time with fun and playful people, be that person and make others happy and laugh. This way, you will bring happiness to yourself and to others.

  • Count your blessings. Counting your blessings is the one of the best way to distance yourself from negative thoughts which block humor and laughter. In fact, counting your blessings gives you happiness and joy for you remember how blessed you are.

  • Laughter reduces your burdens, inspires hope, keeps you grounded, focused, and alert. It also helps you release anger and forgive sooner.

  • With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource for surmounting problems, enhancing your relationships, and supporting both physical and emotional health. Best of all, this priceless medicine is fun, free, and easy to use.

So, what are you waiting for, enjoy life, share happiness, your smile and make others laugh.

I laugh all day when my little brother is back home! I laugh when my mom is happy, but there is no way I will laugh when she is angry.
