Back then in Secondary School or the foreign people will say High School I studied French back then and I excelled in my examinations. Even before I was admitted into the secondary school I still did great in French in my primary school. Now I have decided to start posting French articles here on read cash. It will be a means of socialization for those that do not know how to speak it and a lot of you will learn many interesting things like; How to greet someone in French, words used in appreciating people in French etc. We will all learn new things. EXPRIMER CE QU’IL FAUT FAIRE ET CE QU’IL NE FAUT PAS FAIRE
( Expressions of what one should do and what one should not do)
Exemple : Qu’est-ce qu’il faut faire pour réussir à l’examen ? ( what should one do
to succeed in an exam ?)
1. D’abord, pour réussir à l’examen, if faut que vous soyez ponctuel à l’école.
(Firstly, to succeed in an exam, you should be punctual to school.)
2, Il faut se lever tôt. ( You should wake up early.)
3. Il faut écouter aux professeurs. ( You should listen to the teachers)
4. Il faut que vous soyez attentif à la classe. ( You should pay attention in the class.)
5. Il faut faire le devoir toujours. ( You should always do your assignment.)
6. Il faut copier toujours vos léçons. ( You should always copy your notes.)
7. Il ne faut pas faire du bruit en classe. ( You should not make noise in the class.)
8. Il faut obéir aux autorités de l’école. ( One should obey the school authority.)
9. Il ne faut pas tricher pendant l’examen. ( You should not cheat during exams.)
10. Il faut étudier très fort. ( You should study very hard.)
11. Il faut lire toujours vos cahiers et vos livres.( Always read your notes and textbooks.)
12. Il ne faut pas vous associer avec de mauvais élèves. ( Don’t associate with bad
students.)
13. Il ne faut pas quitter l’école sans la permission.( Don’t leave the school without
permission)
14. Il ne faut pas fumer. ( You should not smoke)
From the following points, you will observe that the expression “Il faut” is always
followed by an infinitive i.e a verb that has not been conjugated /split.
Exemples: 1. Il faut écouter …
2. Il faut obéir …
3. Il ne faut pas tricher …
4. Il ne faut pas voler etc.
Whenever we are writing this type of thing, we don’t number it. We
write in paragraphs using: D’abord, Ensuite, Et pius, Après, and finalement( en
conclusion )
