Cryptocurrency cemetery

We understand that not all crypt-related projects are viable, but we could hardly imagine the scope of this cemetery.

For example, in 2018 alone, more than 1000 projects went to the cemetery, having previously left financial holes in the pockets of their "depositors".

Many projects have been declared criminal. What becomes the cause of death, or maybe they were originally created for a fast and "Bright life".

Now it makes no sense to list a huge number of scams and dead currencies, but here is a small list that you probably heard about:

According to official data from the US Federal Trade Commission, in the first months of 2018, many depositors were affected by the actions of scam projects in the amount of

more than 532 million dollars, and this is only for the first 2 months, the preliminary estimate of the entire period of 2018 is more than 3 billion dollars.

Sad statistics - only ~ 8% of cryptocurrencies and tokens show positive results.

The numbers of 2017 are less: the results of the study by Satis Group showed that in 2017, fraudulent ICOs raised more than $ 1 billion, of which 271 projects were caught

in plagiarism when compiling in the white paper, had employees posing as other people, or conducted other dubious activities.

And this suggests that the scam trend is only growing. Despite the fact that the regulation of these processes in one way or another takes place in different countries, but this does not interfere with the "Rise of the Dead".

The topic of a separate article is about the promotion of SCAM projects. About 8% of survivors, I think, is also a question of a separate study.

But in general, the trend, of course, requires special care.

After 2020 we will be able to make more accurate forecasts

about the development of a crypto-cemetery.
