The Beijing government has released the first detailed roadmap for implementing blockchain applications for government services. The technology is already in use in 140 applications.

According to a local media publication, the Beijing government is preparing to launch a project to introduce blockchain into government services in China. According to the plan, 140 government service applications are already running on the blockchain.

These applications fall into three categories: "data distribution and exchange", "data sharing" and "electronic certificate storage". The government spokesman responsible for the project said:

ā€œBlockchain is a breakthrough in data exchange that is difficult to implement in the traditional way. For example, as part of the "storage of electronic certificates", electronic certificates are stored on the blockchain, which increases the reliability and efficiency of verification. "

The blockchain system for real estate registration includes eleven sectors, including the Municipal Planning Commission, the Housing and Rural Development Commission, the Tax Bureau, and the Public Security Bureau. A government spokesman said:

"The relevant departments will handle real estate registration and store the necessary information on the blockchain to ensure the credibility of the electronic license to implement the traceability of the data sharing process."

China is increasingly using blockchain to improve efficient various services. It was recently revealed that the Chinese province of Shanxi is using blockchain to manage resources during construction.

Earlier this month, several courts in China began using blockchain-based electronic seals to track and seal real estate. In June, it also became known that the Chinese city of Nanjing had issued $ 54 million in consumer vouchers on the blockchain.
