Education saves life

You can help us make more life-saving information available by translating a script from English to your mother-tongue.
Once the lesson is made it can be used by anyone who speaks your language, giving them information that they need to protect themselves and their family.

We rely on volunteers to translate the lessons from the English script to local languages. In order to keep the costs down and so maximise the number of lessons we can distribute we do not normally offer payment; by translating or recording a lesson you’ll ultimately be helping your own community to get better access to health information.

We also need volunteers to read the translated scripts out in their own language so they can be recorded and used to create new language versions of existing lessons. To translate or to record you will need to speak the relevant language and your mother tongue, and will need a good level of English.

Sponsorship and Corporate Social Responsibility

We’re really grateful to the individuals and organisations who donate to our work. We are a charity, and although the lessons are highly cost-effective, we can only send them out if we have the funds to do so. 
Your donation will give a community the opportunity to learn life-saving information in their own languages – please sponsor our lessons and work by making a donation. 

If you’d like to sponsor one of our lessons as an alternative gift for a loved one or to mark a special event please contact us and we can supply you with a special personalised gift card.

We are also registered for Gift Aid, which will make your donations worth even more if you are a UK taxpayer; please contact us for more information.

Do you run a business? The lessons fit easily into a corporate social responsibility or sustainability programme. 
They could be used to help educate employees, for example if there is a particular problem with malaria in your area, or they are at higher risk of non-communicable diseases because of lifestyle choices. Or they can be used with the wider community, a cost-effective way of providing local people with helpful facts that will enable them to make informed choices about their health.

We are planning to soon launch a version of our online lessons that can be customised with your businesses logo and details, so that your employees and community will be aware of your sponsorship and support.
