So here is another Story Time, I want you to know that my story time most likely is derived from my current life experience/s or what I have learned from the people around.
One of our company's policy is to "NOT BRING ANY MOBILE DEVICE or RECORDABLE DEVICES" inside the Training Room or Production Floor. During our first day of Training that has always been one of the first things mentioned. Also, this colleague has been with the company for a couple of years and he should have already known what are the DO's and DONT's.
He was from a different account and got transferred because the said account had its sunset. Technically, he is on going training on our current account.
What did he do? Well, there were an instance that the Trainer already reminded him since he was seen with a cellphone inside the Training Room but since he was not really caught in the act of using it the trainer just let it pass. But then, one worst thing happen. While in the middle of discussion, he went LIVE on TIKTOK. Wew!
Never have I ever imagined that someone would really dare to do so. Again, they knew and everyone was reminded about the Policy but did not really listen and instead do what was against the rule. So he was advised to visit HR and had a hearing because of course it has a due process. Now the only reason he gave is," I am currently having a conflict with my significant other so I went on live in Tiktok thinking so I will be noticed."
If you may ask how can he bring a cellphone again without the knowledge of the Trainer that is because the class is virtual. Despite them being on site they are located on a different room from the Trainer to maintain Social Distancing and follow COVID Protocols.
But unfortunately, instead of the significant other, one of the Supervisor which was from a different site reported it directly to our SENIOR MANAGER. It did not go to our Supervisor nor to the Trainer but to the SENIOR MANAGER!
We were all silent when we found out about it but we really can't do anything but to wait for the decision. It will take five days before he would know the decision. So he is asked to report to work while waiting.
Days ago he chatted me and shared that he actually got a bigger problem. He mentioned that his mom has a Stage 4 Cancer and shared to me he has not been in a good shape ever since but tried to work. He also didn't know why he did such act despite knowing that it is not allowed. He said he had been feeling mixed emotions especially with all the changes that is happening to work and his life outside work.
And just earlier we got the decision. He got terminated.
Yep. You read it right. TERMINATED.
Despite the fact that the Supervisor and/or Trainer wanted to save him but it is already passed through the Upper Level Management especially that the report did not come from our Site. The only resort that the HR did is to serve his termination today so he will still get his Salary. At least he would still have some amount to use to look for another job and secure himself an allowance for a couple of days. Instead of serving it yesterday which would mean he needs to wait for his last payout after 45 days.
Hopefully he will really be hired to a different company coz I am afraid his termination status from our company might hindrance him from it because of course he will be background checked and he cannot hide the fact that he got terminated. Better though if he would find a company who would honor his honesty that is if he would declare what happened to him and be honest.
Life is never FAIR to everyone. We just gotta learn to manage that each aspects won't be affected. I admit sometimes I am impulsive and not thinking with the words or actions because of too much emotion or stress. My babies are away from me. My grandma is currently in the Hospital fighting for dear life but just gotta continue with day to day living because if not then who will?
CONCLUSION:
If you feel down never forget to look UP. If you have friends to trust then open up.

Work Hard but Play Harder
There is so much in this world that we have yet to discover. As for me, if my real world is too much I then think of any article to write to occupy me or I would start to make some noise.
As what my previous Manager mentioned, if you got tired of working the same task, the same routine then DO SOMETHING! Move up! Do not just be contented of doing the same thing and be bored. Do something, be inspired and inspire others. Be motivated and motivate others.
