Philippine Politics is Crazy
ELECTION in the Philippines is fast approaching and candidates from Presidential down to Barangay Captains are doing their best in order to look good so they could win.
I am a Filipino but I won't deny the fact that politics in our country is more of corruption and very crazy!
Why did I say so?
Well I can let my readers from Leyte speak up who suffered from YOLANDA. Millions if not Billions of help from different countries came and would have been more than enough to help those affected by the typhoon survive but for how many days NO HELP came from the National Government which resulted to robbery. Yes, people would barged in to closed convenience store and robbed those canned goods and anything they could eat and drink.
When I saw that video I was like, whoa! This is insane and impossible! But when I experienced Typhoon Odette which hit our City I was able to realize how hard it is to survive and it was never a joke! I was able to relate to those who suffered from Typhoon Haiyan or Yolanda.
Good thing for our City is that we are not that greatly affected compared to those in Leyte with the Typhoon Yolanda because somehow we were able to withdraw and get back to work after a week. It took almost 2 months though before our electricity got restored but I was totally fine as long as my family were all safe.
Now, going back to the topic, up to now there is only less help from the City or National Government. The aid of 5,000 ($100) which is supposed to be given to all of those affected by the Typhoon has never been released. It has been almost 2 freaking months!
In our Barangay, they were releasing 5 kilos rice and some canned goods. When you ask about the aid promised by the Government, Barangay Officials would shout at you and mock you. They wanted us to wait for something that is almost 2 months LATE?!
And yes, I am ranting for the people who badly needed it and for my relatives who are still struggling.
As for me, I do not expect anything anymore because here in PH if they see that you can still afford to live and you got nice house you are not entitled to receive any aid from the Government despite being one of those who pays for TAXES!
The Government keeps on asking help because the money that is supposed to be for its people are now in the pockets of BIG CROCODILES!
It is just so heartbreaking. Someday my kids will grow up. They would see how fuck up the Government and will experience the same. If only I can migrate to a country away from here.
And now, they are having another goddamn idea of getting kids vaccinated! Of course, it will start with VOLUNTARY til they will announce something like NO KIDS WILL BE ALLOWED TO GO OUT OR GO TO SCHOOL UNVAX so it will eventually gets MANDATORY!
Shame on these people who become rich by using the peoples money. That is why more and more programs are created for the POOR to save their CONSCIENCE.
