Where are you heading?
Being ambitious is already part of human nature. It is hard for us to be contented of what we can have so we aim more and more. But, there is nothing wrong with having an ambition. In fact, it will serve as a fire that would make you continue your day to day hustle. Days ago, we had this event in our company called "**YOU ON THE RISE**". We had different speakers to inspire us and give us tips or advise how to deal withour financial issue/s and so as Parenting. I will tackle about the financial tips provided to us on our next article. I would want to focus now about **PARENTING.** As a parent my greatest challenge is my children's learning. Other than those in ademic, I want them to learn and master other things they are passionate about. Example are: *Dancing, Singing, Playing instruments.*
**LEARNING GOAL** Importance of setting up a goal. When we go about learning it is important to have GOALS as this gives you ***direction*** where to go and what you would have to do. We have to use that goal to make right decisions.
**PARENTAL GOAL** As an example, the speakers gave this particular guide. The speakers by the way were husband and wife. They also brought their kids to speak up and answer questions for them especially challenges that they may have encountered during pandemic and how they overcome it. Raise kids to love God Be man and a woman of character Excel in areas of giftedness With these guide you can then start to set things as to how you can make it possible. Also we need not to stress ourselves with unrealistic things and pressure our kids. Remember, virtual is way different than face to face classes. We have to be realistic as to what our kids can enjoy or learn in a virtual environment. **PARENTING ESSENTIALS**
**Connection** As a parent we have to connect with our kids. Respect things they did not like and understand their behaviours over different things. We may not have all the time of the world but we got to be observant. In this way they will be comfortable and it is going to be easier for them to speak up.
**Direction** Set direction that would synch with your kids and children. Then you work together to make it happen. Also, work with your partner. Make sure that you have the same goals and set the same direction where you want to see your kids few years from now. Again, make it transparent to your kids too so you would know if the goal works for them or not.
**Exemplify** Be a good example. Do not do something that you have prohibited from your child/children. For instance, if you want them to limit watching netflix and manage their time when studying or learning. Make sure you are doing the same so they would have someone to look up to. It is good when we try to push our kids or children to read one book in a day or two books in a week depending of course as to how many pages it consists. From there, english subject, grammar and spelling won't be a challenge for you. ...end thoughts... Being a parent/s is a lifetime commitment. They may have their own family in the future but we will stay as their parents. We are also not just raising our kids. We are raising future citizens and someones future husband or wife. But say that you are still single, you can also set priorities like career, investment, savings. These will surely prepare you in the future.

First, thank you for sharing the lessons you gained from the event It's important that parents align their goals with that of their children. That way, they will earn their trust, and the kids will be able to open up to them Both parents should ensure they both have the same dreams and aspiration for their kids, so that one partner doesn't struggle to raise the kid alone.
Hello Edystringz :) Thank you for sharing your thoughts. With what you stated I am pretty sure we are on the same page as what you stated were all correct. Maybe the only challenge here is when raising kids alone or if your partner is away from you... But of course parents can figure things out.
This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing π
My pleasure. I appreciate your time on reading my article π
It's worth my time to read.π
Parents will really do anything for their families. And you are such a hardworking mom..
Ganyan eh pagka mama na Jane. Kayud to kayud. Mahirap pero na aamaze din ako sa sarili ko na nakakaya ko yung mga bagay na pinagdaanan ko... Thank you for uplifting me Jane πβ€οΈ
Parents are really amazing! They will make sure that their children will be a good person growing up. And that is such a process. A process to be taken with love and care. π You are such a wonderful mom. π
Thank you for this MissJo. It is seldom that I get praises or appreciation and its overwhelming. It is hard when you become a mom and your environment would just let you do whatever you want and then just look at you when you cry out of frustration just because you have to be always strong. But yeah, being strong is the necessity. When I had my children there is no way to think of quitting.
You are really a good mom, Glez. π Just thinking of not quitting is what makes you truly amazing.
parenting is hard ... gusto ko rin malove ng baby ko ang reading...
Yes that was the advise. Make them read..invest on books. Kaya cguro yung iba na can afford bumili talaga ng encyclopedia, readers digest and the likes.
