"There is Growth in every Criticisms"

Last week, I was asked by my Supervisor to work on a certain project. We have to launched it March fiscal so we're kinda in a hurry in coming up certain ideas on how to launch it. As an employee and despite my tenure in the company I have doubts if I can ever make it. I have a low self-esteem and does not have much confidence. Pretty toxic? Yeah. That is why I don't engage too much with strangers or colleagues because I am afraid I might commit mistakes. Just 2 years ago, I was assigned to a different team. To give a quick ran through, I am workin in a BPO industry. I take in calls and there are cases that I am assigned to do other tasks. Pretty much depends on what needs to be done. My Supervisor would want us to learn something new or learn an additional skill that could certainly help us more with the current position that we have or task that we are assigned to. Within the whole week I was engage with the tasks given to me while at the back of my mind I kept on praying that my Supervisor would approve every output knowing his standards. When I first submitted my template he gave me a feedback to maybe not put too much colors so its not gonna be hard for me to highlight important details listed on that poster. Yes I had to make some posters with the updates so everyone would know but the challenge is I have to make it different in order to get the attention of my colleagues. It needs to be presentable and professional at the same time period i never had any experience of doing so and it is my first time trying to engage with designing so it's pretty much putting an important details regarding the update and making sure that it would catch my colleagues attention especially that most of them belongs to the millennial. The color, the concept and all things I need to put in there should relate to the new update and project.

The second template he commented about the border. Its like we have to maximize the use of a particular size of a poster so putting a border doesn't really needed as it limits the things that I can put on the poster.

**Finally**, after spending sometime thinking I was able to come up with a template.

As for this third one he only commented on the spaces between the details and he was all set! Sent it to his email and also got the approval from my Senior Manager which really made me so happy. I also created 2 more templates for other updates and created a guide through excel file for everyone which they have also approved. Here's what my supervisor chatted then:

*You might notice some words that you are not familiar with that is because we also mixed english with our own dialect but ideally we would have to speak or communicate in straight English especially during virtual meetings.* One thing that I have also admire with my Supervisor is that he make or find sometime to talk or coach us despite him being so busy. When the pandemic started he encouraged us to stay connected and stay safe. He often says we would have to make sure we could help in keeping the company operational so we could all keep our jobs. He attended meetings especially those emergency meetings despite him feeling sick because of lack of sleep when pandemic started. He goes to the office while making sure we are safe at home especially those who has a child. And whenever he gives feedback it doesn't make us feel offended but motivated to do more. My family or some of my relatives would keep on telling me to look for another job which has a normal working hours but it is really hard to leave a job where you get to have the best supervisor and manager. Being in a call center industry is not good for ones health since we would have to work on a graveyard shift most often and seldom on a day shift but as for me I am not ready yet. Thank you all for reading my article and for supporting me! I hope you get to enjoy this one.
