There are only a few things, shows, movies or television series but they do get you talking. If not talking, thinking to yourself. They leave with a piece of yourself missing it and also leave you with a piece of themselves that becomes a part of your life. These shows inspire something within you in my case they ispire me to write and so I shall write.

I have just completed a show like that.

Erased, known in Japan as Boku dake ga Inai Machi, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kei Sanbe. Adapted in an anime series by A-1 Pictures and later a live action series released by Netflix.

The show follows Satoru Fujinuma, a guy who mysteriously find himself occasionally swept back in time to right what's been wrong. He has a name for this ability it's "Revival". This mystery thriller takes him 18 years back where he is shouldered with responsibility of saving his classmate from a serial killer on loose killing innocent kids (especially girls of the age 11 to 12). After failing a couple of times Satoru finally gets his hands on the murderer only to be on the verge of death himself . Fortunately he doesn't die but is lefy disabled in a coma. After 15 long years when he finally wakes up and sort out his jumbled memories he is faced with the murderor once again who is none other than his homeroom teacher at that time Gaku Yashiro who is now a small time politician and wants to kill him. Interestingly enough they have both been filling the void by doing whatever they've in life but now together they seem to click. From a 29 years old pizza boy to a 11 years old elementary school kid to a 25 years old man who woke up after 15 years, Erased is a story about courage, will and intellectual capabilities of our lead to see through villains mind and setting things right.

This thriller animated series is a must-see for anyone with a taste in psychological aspects of character developing in shows. I have never been inspired by anything more than Japanese way of thinking things. It's like the way they see the world is totally different. If you are up for it i recommend watching this animation once in your anime-loving life.

If you have seen the show before and want some more shows like this, then here is my list of recommendations:

1. Parasyte
2. Code Gease
3. Tokyo Ghoul
