Time is flowing like a river
But is elusive unlike matter
It moves in only one direction
On it we focus our attention
If we do otherwise our lives will be in shambles
All our efforts will yield nothing but troubles
Time is gold w'eve been told
We cannot avoid getting old
Hence, the need to use it wisely,
But most important, productively
The way we spend our precious time
Tells of how well we treat life sublime
And when our time is over,
We'll be judged by others
Thus time is but an opportunity
To actualize our full potentiality
To save time for future use
Is insane act we must refuse
Time is constantly passing
And is always up for seizing
Unlike tangible goods on hand,
Time has no beginning nor end
We do live and die in time,
Enjoy it but leave it behind
We surely can't outlast time,
Nor can we buy it for a dime
Stupid are those who hoard time
Like poets that are out of rhyme
